Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Dr. Ruggiero attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where he received his Bachelors degree. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ruggiero is known for his honest, direct approach to dentistry. He takes the time to educate patients, keeping them informed about their options and helping them make the best possible decisions for the health and well-being of their smiles. He helps patients relax and feel at-ease with his calm demeanor, patience, and great sense of humor.
When hes not in the office, Dr. Ruggiero enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelly, his daughter Sophia, and their dog, Nate. He also enjoys conquering projects around the house, working on cars, playing frisbee golf, and doing anything in the water.
As a proud native of Cedar Rapids Dr. Ruggiero is honored to be able to serve the dental needs of the community that is so special to him. He looks forward to meeting every new patient who walks through the door.
Tina has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over 13 years, and she thoroughly enjoys the variety that working in a family dental practice offers. She loves that her job allows her to meet new people, and see families grow and expand over time. Tina is married with five children and seven grandchildren, and she loves spending time with all of them. She also loves traveling, shopping, and attending her grandchildrens activities.
Megan earned her Associate of Applied Science from Kirkwood Community College in 2012, and later joined our team in 2018. She volunteered with a dental clinic in Guatemala and in 2012 received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award. She loves the opportunity to help patients and provide quality care based on their individual needs. She always enjoys the chance to get to know her patients and their families. Outside of the office, Megan loves spending time with her husband and their three children.
Kelsey earned her degree in dental hygiene from Baker College and joined our team in 2021. Shes since obtained certifications in local anesthetic administration and Registered Dental Assisting. Kelsey also received the Hu-Friedy Outstanding Clinician Award for her volunteer work, and is a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Society. She loves the chance to help patients maintain a healthy smile that theyre proud to show off. She takes time to get to know each patient, and always looks forward to seeing them at their next dental visit. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys playing sand volleyball, going on walks with her Golden Retriever Oliver, and playing cribbage with her husband Jon.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Iowa State University in 2012, and completed her Dental Assisting degree at Kirkwood Community College in 2017. She joined our team in 2021, and has earned additional certifications as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and a Qualified Dental Assistant. She was recognized as Student of the Year by Kirkwood Community College and loves to help people, whether shes aiding her coworkers, boss, or her wonderful patients. She strives to get to know each patient and help reduce their anxiety while receiving the dental care they need and deserve. When not in the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her two daughters!
Heather graduated from Kirkwood Community College with her Associate of Applied Science degree in 2014. She joined our team in 2021, and has completed special certifications in Expanded Functions and is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Heather often volunteers with iMOM, His Hands Free Clinic, and the National Fragile X Foundation. She loves the opportunity to help our patients have a wonderful time in the office, and looks forward to hearing about their unique experiences. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family.
Adrienne graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a minor in Alcohol and Drug Studies in 2011. She joined our team in August 2021. She has also volunteered her time with Toys for Tots and her local food pantry. Adrienne loves the opportunity to work in an environment that truly cares about the wellbeing of others and enjoys taking on different tasks throughout the day and contributing to the success of the office! Her hobbies include painting, sewing, decorating, and fragrance & scent collecting.
