At Cedar Creek Dental, Dr. Eric von Hoven has dedicated his practice to bringing advanced dental health to every patient he cares for and treating them like family. Supported by a knowledgeable, compassionate and well trained team, patients feel very comfortable in the office and confident in his care.
Dr. Eric von Hoven graduated from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 1992. He is a member of the faculty of ATSU Dental School as a clinical instructor. He has served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Dentistry for Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.) in 2005. Dr. von Hoven has served as a board member for several local and national philanthropic organizations. In order to provide his patients with the most current information in treatments, procedures and dental products, Dr. von Hoven has become a Silver Tier Invisalign Provider and maintains the following professional memberships:
Dr. von Hoven and his wife Sarah have two sons Kellen and Dane and 4 rescue dogs. They like to spend free time sailing, hiking and cycling. They enjoy cooking in their wood fired oven when hosting pizza parties for family, friends and Dr. von Hoven's students. The von Hovens are dedicated to several veterans projects, such as hosting an annual Veterans Thank you Breakfast, Dental Lifeline Network and the Honor Flight.
I graduated from SIU-Carbondale's dental hygiene program. I have enjoyed being a part of the Cedar Creek team since 1988. My husband Kevin and I have been married since 1986 and have one son Grant. I enjoy reading, campfires, and time with family and friends.
I was a dental assistant for 25 years before moving to the role of office manager. I enjoy seeing generations of patients come through the office. My husband and I have 2 grown children, Ryan and Sara and 4 grandsons. Outside of the office I enjoy friends, family and traveling and of course spending as much time as possible with my sweet grandsons.
I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2009. I really enjoy what I do. Outside of the office my 2 young boys keep my husband and me busy. I also like to cook and sneak in a Cardinals game whenever we can.
