Dr. Katy Clapham was born and raised in Clear Lake, Iowa. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA receiving a BA in Biology in 2006. She received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Clapham joined Hennessey Family Dentistry (now Cedar Brook Dental Group) in July 2009 and quickly fell in the love with Cedar Falls. Her husband, Nate, works in University Advancement at UNI and both feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the friendly and welcoming Cedar Falls and UNI communities.
Dr. Clapham is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Waterloo District Association, where she was most recently President. She enjoys volunteering through programs such as Give Kids A Smile, Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) and the Donated Dental Services program. Dr. Clapham is committed to continual training in the dental field and attends multiple continuing education courses every year to stay up-to-date with the latest materials and techniques.
Dr. Jamie Petrie was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She attended North Dakota State University, where she competed in Track and Field, and graduated with a BA in Biology in 2003. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2008. She practiced her first two years at Peoples Community Health Clinic in Waterloo, IA. She then moved to Columbus, Ohio, where her husband was completing his medical residency training in Ophthalmology, at which time she entered private practice dentistry for four years. In 2014, Dr. Petrie and her husband moved their family back to Cedar Falls to plant their family roots and joined her father at Nemmers & Petrie Family Dental, before merging her practice in with Cedar Brook Dental Group.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Waterloo District Association. She is a dedicated dentist providing quality dental care to her patients, and attends hundreds of hours of continuing education to stay up to date with new technology and techniques.
Dr. Petrie is thrilled to be raising her family in the same community that she was blessed to be raised in. She and her husband Tom, who is an Ophthalmologist with Cedar Valley Eye Care, have two daughters and one son. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, running, exercising, being outdoors, and cheering on the Panthers!
Dr. Anne Hennessey was raised in Sumner, IA. She attended the University of Iowa and received her BS in Biology in 1989 and her DDS degree from the College of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Anne Hennessey purchased her practice in Cedar Falls, Iowa in the Spring of 1995. The office was built and she moved the practice to its current location in 2003.
Dr. Hennessey is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Waterloo District Association. She served for 12 years on the Board of Delta Dental of Iowa. She volunteers through many programs such as Give Kids A Smile, Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) and the Donated Dental Services program. She is also one of the team dentists for the UNI Panthers. You can usually catch Dr. Hennessey running or biking on the many trails throughout the community. She also enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Hennessey and her family have resided in the Cedar Valley for many years and both of her daughters attended Cedar Falls High school. They enjoy being active participants in the Cedar Valley community. Throughout her years of practicing, she has always stayed abreast of the current trends in dentistry and strives to provide the best treatment for her patients.

Dr. Katy and assistant Jessi R. are great to work with especially with children! Very nice & clean office as well! They were able to work with us and get us in right away! Highly recommend!

Very rude front desk, I stopped adding to their profit. Not at all courteous, the worst front desk in the cedar valley area.

Dr. Katy is bar far one of the most kind, considerate, compassionate, and thorough dentists I have met. Our girls were going to Cedar Valley Pediatrics but I wasn't pleased. So, I switched to Dr. Katy because I'd seen good reviews. I could not be happier we made that transition! Our oldest, who is 6, has had a lot of problems and ended up needing 2 fillings, a baby root canal, and a tooth pulled all within the course of about 3 months. Dr. Katy has made each of those experiences so positive for our daughter. She doesn't fear the shot, and in fact, looks forward to the bubble gum nose she gets with the laughing gas. I've called the office so many times in the past months because we kept having tooth problems - Dr. Katy even filled a prescription for us while we were in Florida on vacation to help treat tooth pain until we got home and could have the tooth pulled. She really does go above and beyond and it's obvious she sincerely cares for her patients. I 100% recommend Dr. Katy and her staff!

How do I put this in words. This place was amazing! They were so good with my kiddos. I am self conscious of my teeth and they just made me feel so much better. We are so happy to have found them! Highly recommend!

I had an impacted wisdom tooth over Thanksgiving weekend and Dr. Clapham had me come in on Friday and pulled it for me. She was very friendly and professional. Words can't describe how grateful I am for her to do this for me on a holiday weekend. I highly recommend Cedar Brook Dental Group to everyone and plan on going to them from now on. Building is clean and has a very relaxing, comforting vibe. Dr. Clapham and her entire team were great and thorough but most important they were WONDERFUL with my 2 year old during his appointment!

Everyone at the office is super nice! The office itself is very clean, the wait time is minimal, and the hygienists are thorough and gentle. Dr. Petrie is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone!

I called to set up a consultation for a family member to get her teeth repaired. They don't accept her insurance and they refused to accept my private pay. The staff were very rude and short, no compassion whatsoever. I even mentioned that it felt discriminatory and the office manager said they have the right to refuse anybody. I'm honestly glad I didn't add an $8000 procedure to their profits. They are not inclusive and it seems as if you need to be a high class dominant race and financial status to receive services here. I will spread the word of their unprofessionalism to avoid anyone else being disregarded and treated as less than a person.
