Dr. Markham is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Bucks-Montgomery Dental Society.

She finds orthodontics rewarding because of the tremendous change seen in peoples smiles and confidence. She also enjoys interacting with the patients and their families to get the best result possible.
You may be surprised to learn that Dr. Markham is an identical twin. Her twin sister, Peggy, is a rheumatologist and also lives in the area. So, if you see Dr. Markham outside of the office, and she doesnt seem to know you, then you have probably just seen her twin.
I went to the Delaware Valley Academy of Medical and Dental Assistants. I like orthodontics because it is more hands on than general dentistry. While completing my internship after dental assistant school, I found myself wanting to do more direct patient care. I also love seeing the progress and then seeing the final result of a great smile. I enjoy working with kids, as well. I used to work in a day care and was also a nanny. So I'm getting the best of both worlds with my position at this office.
I grew up in Staten Island, New York and moved to Plumsteadville, PA four years ago. I finished by last 2 years of high school at C.B.West, go Bucks! I currently attend Montgomery County Community College with the hopes of enrolling in their Dental Hygiene program.
When I'm not at work or school you can probably find me at one of the many country concerts playing in the area. I am a huge country music fan, some of my favorite artists at the moment are Luke Combs, Jason Aldean and Chris Young.
My name is Gillon and I'm a dental assistant here at Dr. Markham's office. I like working in orthodontics because you learn something new everyday. I enjoy working with awesome people and treating awesome patients as well! Working in this office is hands on and I like that a lot.
I am one of Dr. Markhams receptionists. I have been working here since June 2018. I am responsible for receptionist and some financial duties. Since I am x-ray certified I also occasionally take x-rays. I enjoy meeting new patients, interacting with everyone, and see the amazing transformations that Dr. Markham achieves.
Dr. Markham opened up her office in 2000 and she 'volunteered' me to assist her with the day-to-day operations. Prior to working for Dr. Markham I was the Human Resources Manager for an adult literacy non-profit. I have degrees from Villanova and Temple Universities.

Orthodontists are dentists who have specialized in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. An orthodontist must complete college requirements before entering a four-year graduate program in dentistry. After dental school, a two-to-three-year full-time university-based accredited orthodontic residency must be completed. By learning the biology of tooth movement, facial growth and development, and facial esthetics, orthodontists are uniquely qualified to straighten teeth and correct jaw abnormalities.

Dr. Markham and her staff are the best! They always take the time to talk to you and explain procedures. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and always are available to talk. I would highly recommend her!!

The best office in Warrington/Doylestown area! Dr Markham and her staff make my son's treatment fun! She is always available and ready to help. Nothing is too scary...even an expander, braces and sleeping face mask at the same time:) I see a huge improvement. My younger daughter can not wait to be next patient and wear braces with pride like her brother. Great service! I highly recommend Dr. Markham office.

Dr. Markham and her staff are incredible. I think I was more nervous than my 7 year old, but everyone is so nice and patient! They really take the time to make sure you understand everything and are comfortable! I highly recommend! 2years later and I still only have amazing this to say! Their office is clean, well ventilated and inviting. The staff is so kind and understanding. My son loves going to his appointments. It has been an amazing experience!

They explained every step, they were kind, thoughtful and amazing. My youngest daughter was not as complicated but we still received the same wonderful experience and care. Even through this crazy pandemic we were able to talk to Dr Markham and get help. Dr Markham was always available and her staff. When they reopened they were amazing. The clinic is above anything you could imagine. We are delighted to have them as our Orthodontist.

I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Markham. Five months into braces and the changes in my teeth have already exceeded my hopes. I find myself often smiling into the mirror with great anticipation and excitement for what my teeth will look like with the brackets off. The best part is that Dr. Markham has been with me at each and every step, going beyond expectation to address my questions and concerns, and to resolve the situations that were causing extreme self-consciousness. I am fully confident that when I've completed care, I will have an amazing smile.
