Dr. Gary Roach attended Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He has practiced in Roanoke since graduating from dental school in 1994. His dream has been to help people and to make a difference in their lives. Dentistry allows him to fulfill that dream.
Dr. Roach and his wife, Julie have two children, Sam and Lana Dayle, who attend Cave Spring Middle School. In addition to being a mom, Julie owns Laurel Hill Salon. Both Dr. Roach and Julie grew up in Roanoke, graduated from Cave Spring High School and went to Roanoke College. Its a real pleasure for Gary to serve the area he grew up in.
Dr. Roach has served as President of the Roanoke Valley Dental Society where he is still an active member. He also is a member of the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association. Dr. Roach is also a member of the Virginia Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Gary Roach was voted Best Dentist by the readers of SWoCo and Best Dentist by the readers of City Magazine, an honor he does not take lightly. He knows that his patients value the work he does and he is proud that they have chosen to recognize him in this way.
Dr. Lubeck grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he attended Brigham Young University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. During his tenure at BYU, he served a two-year church mission in Portugal.
Dr. Lubeck returned to Philadelphia to attend Temple University School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Lubeck completed a dental residency at the University of Washington in Seattle where he obtained advanced training in many areas of dentistry. Dr. Lubeck is passionate about learning and is always striving to increase his knowledge and proficiency through study and participation in continuing education.
Dr. Lubeck and his wife, Alexandra have four children, Jackon, Lucy, Eliza Jane, and Jesse. When hes not working, Dr. Lubeck enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and getting outdoors to play with his kids. Dr. Lubeck also volunteers at the Bradley Free Clinic and is involved in teaching dental students at MCV Dental School. He also enjoys teaching and leading a youth group at his church.
Dr. Lubeck was voted one of three Top Docs by local health care professionals in the Roanoker magazine. While this is a great compliment, Dr. Lubeck feels an even greater sense of satisfaction from the many patients who encourage their family and friends to come to see him and become part of the family. He loves seeing these patients wherever he goes in Roanoke and feeling a strong sense of community.

Dr. Lubeck followed in the footsteps of Dr. Roach and served as president of the Roanoke Valley Dental society where he too continues to be active. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Laing attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Langley Air Force Base before serving three years as a general dentist in the United States Air Force.

Dr. Lubeck is a stellar dentist that is skilled and cares. I very much appreciate the time and effort him and Jessica have put into my care. This is an excellent dental office and you won't regret seeing anyone here.

Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Laing and her staff are extremely friendly and foster a relaxed, no judgement environment. As someone who suffers from dental anxiety, it really speaks volumes that I'm looking forward to my next visit! My family and I have been patients of Dr. Lubeck for several years now. Before becoming his patient I had some unpleasant dental experiences which led to some anxiety. Dr. Lubeck has always been very kind and mindful of this and made sure that I am comfortable and as pain free as possible. He, his dental assistant, Jessica, and the front office staff recently went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and quickly. All of the staff here are very friendly and professional. Initial visit with Dr Laing based on recommendations from two of my friends who are also clients. Paperwork process went smoothly. Front office staff very friendly and capable. Dental assistant did a fantastic job of taking x rays and prepping. Following a thorough oral exam Dr Laing spent a great deal of time describing to me and educating me about my dental issues, treatment options and prognosis. If you have any anxiety about dental procedures, Dr Laing will address those concerns and set your mind at ease Examination room has a large window view to outside with bird feeders and squirrels going about their business .. makes for a very relaxing distraction! I have had a long history of feeling fearful to go to the dentist. I no longer have that fear. Dr. Lubeck is amazing!! He is patient. He is kind. He is helpful. He answers every question that I have and never makes me feel like he is too busy. My daughter had 2 fillings recently. She left the office smiling and was completely unfazed! Dr. Lubeck talked her through step by step in terms that my 6 year old could understand. His entire focus was on her. He treats me the same way when I am in the chair--he is completely focused on my needs. I never leave his office feeling shaken up. Ever. He is gentle. I do not have continued pain after my visit. Absolutely. Hands down. Choose Dr. Lubeck to be your dentist!

I am not fond of dentist,, but going to Dr Lubeck is so pleasant and his whole staff is so friendly and caring. They put you at ease when you walk in the door. I live in Salem, but so worth the distance to go find a Dentist that is so caring.

Hands down the most incredible dentist on the face of the planet. My entire family sees him and we all feel the same way. If there was a way to give a rating higher than five stars I most certainly would. I will extend this rating to his entire staff. They are not just professional they are personal. The dental hygienist have got to be the best in the business. If I'm not mistaken the entire staff has been working there for a long time. That professionalism and Personal Touch has made me a fan of the entire experience. Which speaks volumes when I make those comments about a dentist office. I have never had positive experiences in the past and was more than a little hesitant when I first started seeing Dr Lubeck a couple years ago. Let me state again, this is the best staff and dentist quite probably in the entire United States. If you have a dentist and they are good I dare you to try Dr Lubeck. I would be willing to bet even money that you're going to drive back to your old dentist and slap the taste out of their mouth. Yes they are that good.!

You won't find a better Dentist anywhere. ESPECIALLY for kids...Dr. Lubeck is top notch! Dental Assistants are super nice...front desk peeps are professional. They even called my insurance before the visit so I had zero surprises!

Dr. Lubeck is amazing. He cares about you and makes sure that you are comfortable and that you understand what is happening inside your mouth. He loves music, any kind of music from bluegrass to any kind of rock. It is fun to talk with him while you are in the chair. Our family loves him and we would recommend him to anyone!
