I think dr Cauthen is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He is very friendly. And they always helped me out with getting things done asap.. I don't know why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars.

Wonderful. This place is always very friendly. With me and my son. The hygienist is great with my son the hygienist is great with me. I normally get in a seat before my appt time. They are very friendly and personable. Dr. Cauthens even remembers conversations from way back and asks how your doing. Yesterday I went in to get tooth checked up on but they were also able to fit me in for my yearly cleaning in stead of scheduling it for another day. Over all awesome facility.

If I could give 5 stars for the hygienists I would. But after a second bad experience I've switched dentists. I went to Dr Cauthen's office in 2017-2018 for a filling since I was no longer in network with York Dental Group. He had the X-Rays from my previous dentist so I assumed he had filled the correct tooth. Fast forward 4 months and I'm still having tooth pain. Called and was told it's normal to have sensitivity after a filling so I just let it slide. When I went back to my YDG (they were back in network because my insurance changed) for my next cleaning I was informed he didn't fill the original cavity at all but somehow managed to "find a new cavity" that I was never informed of even though the X-Rays were recent and there was no cavity on the tooth he filled. I changed jobs and unfortunately YDG wasn't in network again so I chose to give Dr. Cauthen a second chance. I had multiple fillings done in January of this year and haven't been able to eat on the right side of my mouth ever since. The fillings have sharp edges and there are pieces of filling between my teeth that are sharp and pointed and should have been removed but are still there. So now I'm having to go to a new dentist and go through the process of having them fixed AGAIN. I definitely do not recommend Dr. Cauthen for any dental work and wish I had learned my lesson the first time.

Called for a cleaning in May was told they're booked up months out but come in to get my xrays that way it will already be done when I get my cleaning. Got xrays done and was given an appointment card for my cleaning on August 16 at 8:45am. Get to the appointment and they ask me did I just get added this morning, I said no and showed them my appointment card. She kept looking in the computer asking how do spell your name and I said I've been waiting months for this appt, can you work me in since it's not my fault. The receptionist said well I can reschedule for 3:30 August 31, I told her that's not going to work. Then she says well we can't see you until October, with a nasty attitude. Front desk needs customer service and sensitivity training. Don't go here unless you like waiting months for an appointment only to show up and be turned around because staff dropped the ball. It doesn't matter how good the dentist is if everybody you have to go through to get to him is rude or nasty.

My Orthodontist and myself called back in November-December to talk about a dental health care plan. Dr. Cauthen or his staff never called either of us back after weeks of calling. A month after they so called cleaned my teeth, I went to another dentist and had my teeth professionally cleaned. It was as if Dr. Cauthen's team did not clean my teeth at all. Not to mention Lynn who answers the phone is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I will never come back here. BTW I AM STILL WAITING ON A CALLBACK Update:Someone called me back but I was working and couldn't answer. Nobody knew who called and I still haven't heard back. I would not recommend this people to anyone ever. Their work is garbage and customer service is awful.

My first time visiting. I was welcomed. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a dentist who truly loves what they do. They took time out for me to explain things and did a great job cleaning my teeth. No roughness when flossing or any pain the entire visit. Even the xray process was painless!

Took my boys here (16,12&6) as we are new to the area and they accepted our insurance. Everyone was especially nice! The Hygenist and Dentist were both attentive, personable, professional and friendly! Exceeded my expectations! We are used to a all pediatric dentistry office but these folks helped us feel right at home. Even my 16 yr old had a smile, and with teenagers you all know how that can be! Glad to have found a great dentist for my guys!

We just moved into the area, and were happy that the office accepted our insurance. The staff was super nice and welcoming. My kids (11 & 14) really liked their experience here. The staff all had kids or grandchildren, and it really showed with how nice they were to my kids. My kids said they had a pain free experience during the cleanings, which hasn't always been the case with other dentists. Very happy to have found this place!

He is a scammer. Office manager has no personality. Xwife came she is in a wheel chair and needed help filling out papers she cant write left arm numb. The woman would not even help said she was busy NO ONE in OFFICE. Dr did not follow protocol for insurance company for a simple cleaning which is covered 100% and sent us a bill PPO preferred. Looking for ways to charge out of line with insurance. STAY AWAY. The 5 Stars must be relatives or friends.

Had consultation where he concluded it was totally doable to remove silver filings and replace with white fillings all covered by my insurance. After two visits his staff noticed I was paying cash for the nitris so he decided all of a sudden I needed thousands of dollars of dental work and now of course Xrays on my THIRD visit, COME ON,, he and his staff decided pulling me teeth instead of saving them just had to be done , caps and crowns and all of a sudden no more fillings could do the trick. Total scam , assumed I had money and tried to work me for it. Dentists are supost to save your teeth , not pull them out for money.

Dr. Cauthen and his staff are simply amazing! I have tried for years to find a dentist that I could completely trust and whose prices aren't way out of my league. Dr. Cauthen truly cares about your well-being. He takes the time to go over what's going on, answers all your questions, and figures out a plan that suits both your dental needs as well as your wallet needs. I have left dentists who I felt were suggesting unnecessary procedures or whose rates were ridiculously high. I am so happy that I found Dr. Cauthen and his staff!! The dental hygienists are wonderful, and his office staff are so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend him to family and friends!!
