Dr.Trentacoste is a New Orleans native, born and raised in the Crescent City. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University and received his D.D.S. degree from LSU school of Dentistry in 1980. That same year, he began his dental practice in Metairie, and has been in practice for over 30 years.

Dr.Trentacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association. He is professional and knowledgeable in dentistry and enjoys expanding his knowledge by attending many continuing education course. He is especially passionate about cosmetic dentistry and offers a number of cosmetic services. He is dedicated to help his patients achieve a lifetime of dental health and preserve their teeth and gums.

He is a loving, caring husband and father of six children. He enjoys sports, hunting, fishing and hanging out at his farm in Mississippi with his family and friends. If you find yourself at IHOP in the morning, you will most probably run into Dr.Trentacoste there! He loves that place!

With over 13 years of experience, Carol started working for Dr.Trentacoste in 2012. She takes care of office accounts, Insurance, scheduling, answering phones, and office management just to name a few. Theres not much she cant do! She even speaks Spanish!

She feels like our staff is one BIG family, and feels very lucky to work with such an excellent team. We feel very lucky to have her too! She works hard and is always willing to help us and the patients when needed. Her favorite part of working here is building a meaningful relationship with our patients & families. Our patients appreciate her good attitude and dental knowledge.

When Carol is away from work, she loves spending time with her husband Mike, and her entire family. She LOVES to travel, host family outings and barbeques, and hit the gulf coast on the weekends. She enjoys football season so she can cheer on LSU, as well as the Saints. Did I mention she is a huge LSU fan? She bleeds purple and gold!

Cherie graduated from LSU School of Dentistry with a degree in 1991 and started working with Dr. Trentacoste that same year. She is surely loyal! Besides her family, this line of work is truly her passion in life. She loves what she does and it shows! Always uplifting and caring, she is such a positive force in our office. Cherie regularly attends continuing education courses and is excellent at explaining dental needs to the patients.

Her true joy is establishing relationships with our patients while providing them with excellent dental care. She loves starting a big case and getting to see the smile on the patients face when they are finished. She feels there is nothing more gratifying.

Cherie loves welcoming everyone as if they were part of our family and wants our patients to feel that we are their dental home. She has patients that have been coming to her since she first started here and they wouldnt dare have anyone else clean their teeth! They love her thorough, yet gentle cleaning style and love chatting with her. They welcome her as part of their families also.

Cherie has been married for over 22 years, and enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 wonderful children, and her beautiful grandson. When she is not at work, she enjoys teaching indoor cycling at a local health club, vacationing, and volunteering in her church parish.

Cherisse graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996, then later on, completed more schooling to get anesthesia certified. In addition to that, she regularly attends continuing education courses to broaden her dental knowledge.

Raised in Vacherie, she returned home and worked there for awhile, then moved to Baton Rouge. Enjoying the city life, she found her place in New Orleans and started working for Dr.Trentacoste in 2006. She loves all the city offers, but still loves going home to Cajun country every chance she gets.

She enjoys working on our fun, friendly, laid back atmosphere. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is the relationships she forms with the patients. She enjoys getting to know them and their families. Her patients feel the same about her and most look forward to their dental visits! They often compliment her gentle touch, while getting a meticulous cleaning.

Cherisse performs the Zoom In-Office Whitening for our patients and loves seeing the difference it makes. She really likes the cosmetic aspect of Dentistry and likes seeing how a beautiful smile can really uplift a persons morale.

When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, Ray, their son, Grayton, and their boston terrier, Tyson. She enjoys getting together with family and friends, making bottle cap signs, and she really loves traveling (especially to the beach). Most weekends in the fall, she can be found in Tiger Stadium or the Dome cheering on LSU and our beloved Saints.

Transplanted from sunny California, Tori has been part of our team since 2009. She is very skilled at what she does and we could not have asked for a better dental assistant. She is Dr.Trentacostes right hand man (woman). She goes above and beyond to make the patients feel comfortable. All the patients adore her! She is one of the most genuine, sweetest people you will ever meet.

Tori has a love for all animals, especially her two boston Terriers and her cat. She hasnt met an animal she didnt like. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her fiance. She loves going to the dog park. She also likes to ride her bike, and has a passion for music. She loves partaking in what New Orleans has to offer.
