Dr. Douglas Shindollar was born in Indiana and wanted to be a dentist since his second year of high school. The first person in his family to finish college, he went on to graduate second in his dental school class at the Indiana University. He then moved to Chicago to complete a two-year general practice residency program at Michael Reese Medical Center. This program provided him with additional training in all the modern aspects of family dentistry and gave him the opportunity to learning more complex, advanced procedures. In addition to completely his residency training, Dr. Shindollar also became an instructor at Michael Reese.
Dr. Shindollar combines his training and experience with his warm personality and sense of humor to provide the best treatment modern dentistry has to offer in a very relaxed, friendly, patient center dental office.
Although no one has ever established any risk from dental x-rays, we feel strongly that no x-rays should ever be taken without a very good reason and any necessary x-rays should always use the least amount of radiation possible.
