Dr. Catlett is a native of Fayetteville and has practiced here since 1992. He is a graduate of Cape Fear High School, Brigham Young University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While attending UNC he received several honors and recognitions including: Induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Fraternity, UNC Senior Dental Student Award, International College of Dentistry Senior Dental Award, and the Academy of General Dentistry Award. He formerly was a part-time member of the faculty of UNC School of Dentistry where he worked in the Department of Dental Ecology. Dr. Catlett is a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Catlett is very active in his church and community affairs. He is married to Marie Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada and they have been blessed with five children. His interests outside of dentistry include golf, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren.

Dr. Virginia Mayo is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina. She started working in her fathers dental office in high school and knew immediately dentistry was her passion. Dr. Mayo graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors degree and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of North Carolina. During her studies, she was the recipient of many academic scholarships, as well as two research fellowships.

Dr. Mayo continues to take advance training in order to provide her patients with high-quality dental care utilizing recent concepts and advanced techniques. While helping her patients achieve their individual goals for treatment, she takes great care to do so in a comfortable, friendly environment with kindness and compassion. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). When she isnt working and helping patients improve their oral health, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, playing tennis, running, and cheering on the Tarheels.

Dr.Godek was raised in the city of Reading, Pennsylvania- the namesake of the Reading Railroad on the Monopoly board. She attended Saint Josephs University in Philadelphia, where she got her bachelors degree in biology and went on to get her masters degree in biology at Temple University. During her time at Temple University, Dr.Godek studied breast cancer and taught undergraduates in a biology laboratory. Dr.Godek enjoyed teaching very much and wanted to commit to a healthcare career that would allow for plenty of interaction and the opportunity to teach. This is why she decided to go into dentistry, as dentistry blends the sciences and constant interaction with patients while also being very hands-on and esthetically influenced. She also enjoys the privilege of being able to teach patients every day about oral and dental health! Dr.Godek was fortunate to be accepted into The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she very much enjoyed learning the art and science of dentistry. She met her husband Dan at Pitt- Dans tenure as an army periodontist is what brought the couple to the Fort Bragg area after having lived in Maryland and South Carolina. Dan and Dr. Godek live in Southern Pines with their two dogs. They enjoy cooking together, playing board games and walks in the woods with their trusty dachshund. Dr. Godek enjoys yoga, reading and has recently tried taking up golf- when in Rome!

Dr.Godek is so grateful to be warmly welcomed into Dr. Catletts magnificent practice by his amazing staff and patients! She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and enjoys continuing her dental education through the Dawson Academy and the AGD. Importantly, Dr.Godek misses her little doggies very much while she is at the office and would love for all you dog owners to show her a picture of your pups when you come in for a visit!
