Dr. Pate founded Catawba Valley Dental in September 2001. Since his graduation from The University of Florida (Go Gators), Dr. Pate has had the opportunity to be involved in numerous clinical settings alongside various doctors in Taylorsville, Morganton, Boone, North Wilkesboro, and Hickory. He served as an Associate Clinical Faculty at UNC and is currently serving on the advisory committee at CVCC. Each of these experiences has been beneficial in helping to shape his philosophy about dental treatment.

Dr. Pate is a member of the NCDS, Western Piedmont Dental Society (He is a past President), and also the LDS Academy of Dentistry. He has been on various mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua and also given time locally to Give Kids A Smile, The Dental Bus, and the Mission of Mercy Clinic where he gives his time and expertise to help many throughout various communities. He enjoys all types of dentistry with a particular interest in surgery and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Pate has been providing high-quality dental care in Catawba Valley since 2001. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. Dr. Pate then attended the University of Florida Dental School. When hes not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Pate likes to listen to music and spend time outdoors. His favorite thing about being a dentist is helping to change patients lives. When he was younger, he knew he wanted to work in health care and found that the dental industry was the perfect fit.

Janice has worked at Catawba Valley Dental since 2005. She earned her Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia Institute of Technology. When she isnt at work, Janice loves to spend time with her three children and her pets. She enjoys reading, going to the beach, and snuggling with dog Tucker. If she wasnt a dental hygienist, she might have become a cosmetologist. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is helping patients save their teeth and improve their overall health.

Patsy has worked at Catawba Valley Dentistry since 2002. She studied dental hygiene at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and five grandchildren. Patsy also loves reading, traveling, scrapbooking, and attending theater shows. She credits her love of dentistry to her father, who owned and operated the Lenoir Dental Lab.

Tonia has worked for over 17 years at Catawba Valley Dentistry. She earned her dental assistant certification at Western Piedmont Community College. When she isnt at work, Tonia enjoys camping with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs, Mia and Molly. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing patients smile. As a child, she enjoyed going to the dentist and knew she wanted to work in the dental field.

Carrie has worked at Catawba Valley Dental since 2007, but has worked in the dental industry for over 30 years! She attended Central Piedmont Community College. Carrie loves to bake and spend time with her two sons and her dogs, Cyndi-Lou, and Darby-Sue. If she wasnt working in dentistry, she would want to work as a trauma nurse. Her favorite thing about working in the dental industry is seeing people smile who havent had the confidence to smile.

Lexi has worked at Catawba Valley Dental for over four years. She attended Catawba Valley Community College and Lake Norman Dental Assistant School. Lexi loves hanging out with her fiance and son. She also loves to cook and read. She credits Dr. Pate for her love of dentistry. She loves the patients, coworkers, and atmosphere at Catawba Valley Dental. If she werent a dental assistant, she would work as a surgical tech.

Pat has worked at Catawba Valley Dental since 2001. She attended Western Piedmont Community College Nursing School. She loves the people who walk in and out of the office, and in her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, reading, watching the Hallmark Channel, and collecting angels. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and dog. Pat and her husband have been married for over 50 years!

Andrea has been at Catawba Valley Dental since 2001. She attended Catawba Valley Community College, where she earned her radiology certification. She began working as a dental assistant when they were chair trained but has since earned certification through Chapel Hill. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening, crafting, and working outside.

Danielle started working in dentistry in 1993. She has worked at Catawba Valley Dental since 2001. Although she works front desk now, she is a DAII and dental radiology certified. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Danny, for over 25 years! Her two sons, two dogs, and cat keep her extra busy at home. However, she sneaks in time to craft whenever she can.

Regina resides in Morganton, where she and her husband have three beautiful girls and two grandchildren. Regina loves to go camping, hiking and spending time with her family. We are happy to have her join our team on Fridays.
