Dr. Jason Bodnar received his undergrad at Pittsburg University and went on to Nova Southeastern University for his degree in Dental Medicine. He has been with Cataloochee Dental Group since 2005. He practices at all four of our awesome locations in his tireless pursuit of building a life resume that will even have the gravedigger sad to see him go. Dr. Bodnar is energetic and very active. He is an avid runner, competing in many marathons including the Boston Marathon. You can catch him in any of our locations injecting his passion for helping others get the smile they deserve.

Dr. Erin Mehaffey is a native to Western North Carolina. She takes pride in customizing dental treatment to care for each individuals needs. She grew up in Clyde, and she graduated from Tuscola High School. She received her undergraduate and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Eastern Carolina University. She loves hiking, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Amanda is one of our Dental Assistants. She has been an assistant for over 15 years. She takes pride in creating a relationship with her patients to make them feel more comfortable in the chair. Amanda is married and has two kids she loves spending her time with. She loves traveling to new places, but the beach is her favorite. Amanda is a sport enthusiast and loves photography.

Caroline is a graduate from Asheville-Buncombe Community College where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting, and then a degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene. Since then she has been passionate about serving patients in the community she grew up in. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at East Tennessee State University.

When Caroline is not in the office she can be found somewhere on a mountainside. Living in the mountains provides plenty of local opportunities she enjoys. In the summer she spends time with her family at the lake or camping.

Caroline's favorite part about being a dental hygienist is developing relationships with her patients and learning more about them. She believes dental health can be life-changing and is critical to overall health.

Jessica is our front Office Coordinator. She is a native to Candler, and she is married to her husband, Drew. She has two daughters, Kinlee and Saylor. She loves going to Clemson football games and spending time with her family. Jessica loves anything outdoors and working out. She loves to travel to new places and loves the lake.

Jordan is one of our Hygienists. She has worked with us since 2015, and has had many job titles. Jordan has had many titles from front office assistant, treatment plan coordinator, dental assistant and now a hygienist. Jordan recently married her best friend, Noah. She loves cats, mornings and being outside. Her favorite place to be is at her camper at the lake. Jordan loves music and singing in her churchs worship band.

Tiffany is one of our Dental Assistants. She joined us in the spring of 2020. She is a sweet and kind individual, and takes pride in making patients feel more confident in themselves and their smile. Tiffany is married to her husband, Gunner and has one fur baby, Stump. Her favorite place to be is at the lake. Tiffanys hobbies include gardening, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing.

Dr. Wyatt graduated from NC State University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering along with attending the Business School for his MBA. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill earning his DDS in 2008 when he started practicing. He has been a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wyatt joined Cataloochee Dental Group in 2009 because of a shared belief in providing state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive dentistry. He resides in Waynesville with his wife, Regan, and three daughters. They love to travel and enjoy family time together playing golf, tennis, or attending volleyball tournaments and dance competitions. Weekends in the fall are spent in Raleigh with friends attending Wolfpack football games.

Dr. Philip Fisher has been in practice here in Haywood County since 1989. He is a graduate of the Medical University of SC. Philip is married to his wife Jan and they have two adult children, Graham and Peyton who reside in Manhattan. Dr. Fisher enjoys spending time with his family and he is an avid golfer.

Amber is a native of Haywood County and graduate of Tuscola High School. Before she became a Dental Assistant at Cataloochee Dental Group, Amber worked as a CNA at Silver Bluff Retirement Center. Amber is the proud mother of her son Dawson. Amber has been a valued employee since 2015.

Britt is currently one of our office admins and has been with us since 2018. She was born in Lakeland, FL but was raised here in Haywood County on her familys land. She has been married to her best friend Drake, since 2016. They have two dogs, Eveie and Kona, and a cat named Blaze. She loves her animals and all things Chevrolet. When she isnt working she is either at the softball field or riding ATVs with her husband.

Brittany is one of our Dental Assistants. She has been with us since March of 2017. Brittany is married and has one son, Gunner. She enjoys spending time at the lake with close family and friends. Go Vols!

Canaan is our office administrator. She was born and raised in Candler and has been with Cataloochee Dental Group for 8 years. Canaan has had many jobs with us. She has been the front office coordinator, a dental assistant and a hygienist within the practice. She enjoys spending most of her time with her husband, Boone and kids, Charlee and Beau. Canaan enjoys playing sports, gardening, and going on small adventures with her family.

Cindy started Hygiene in 1989 with Dr. Fisher and still enjoys every bit of it. She is a proud native of WNC. Her and her husband Eric just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They have two grown sons, Mckinley and Trail. Cindy loves to hike and garden and enjoys her outdoor cats, horses and chickens. God is real.

Donna has been practicing hygiene since 1983 and has worked with Dr. Fisher since 2004. Donna has three beautiful girls Sarah, Hannah, and Catherine and three grandsons and one granddaughter. In her free time she loves to hike, camp, and travel. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with all her grandchildren and enjoy what life has to offer.

Boom! Grace has been with Cataloochee Dental Group since 2015. She is currently one of our Dental Assistants and has worked in all of our locations injecting energy wherever she goes. Anyone who knows Grace will find her friendly and humorous ways suit her well for making people feel at home here at CDG. On the weekends you can find her driving a MACK dump truck for her daddy or somewhere outside soaking up the sun.

Nicole was born and raised in our small town of Clyde, NC. She has spent 15 years in the dental field and has been one of our Dental Assistants since 2019. She is newly engaged and is a wonderful, dedicated mom to her son, Nicholas. When not working Nicole can be found on her family farm enjoying time with her animals, family and her friends.

Rhonda has been working with Dr. Fisher since 1989. She has worked in all areas of the practice. She has two kids, Lauren and Garrett, as well as three grand kids Aaliyah, Sam, and Hendrix. Rhonda loves live music, reading, and traveling.

Sybil is a WNC native and is new to the dental field. When she isnt working she loves spending time with her two year old son. She is a fun and very welcoming addition to our admin team at Cataloochee Dental Group.

Dr. Maize graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1986. Moving to Franklin right after receiving his license, he purchased the original practice of the Franklin location. Dr. Maize has an adult son and daughter-in-law. One son graduated from High School in May and his daughter is a rising Junior. Dr. Maize loves gardening and his collection of cars. He is looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild.

Carol Lane Justice has been a Dental Hygienist for thirty three years. She is from franklin and has two kids both students at WCU. When not working she enjoys camping, traveling with family and friends, working out and lifting weights.

Coleen has been a dental assistant for 28 years and loves what she does. Born and raised in NY. Moved to NC 20 years ago. I have a true passion for baking and cooking. Love spending time with my husband, son, extended family and friends. We enjoy camping, going to the lake and various other outdoor activities.

Cara has been a Dental Hygienist for 17 years. She is a native to Macon County. She attended Athens Technical College and received her Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences, Dental Hygiene. She came to work for CDG in 2020.
