Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was so attentive, kind and informative. I usually feel so insecure and nervous but Catalina really made me feel so relaxed! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing staff. I needed a tooth extracted and I wasnt able to get it down at another location and these folks said if I could make it today they could treat it. I was seen in less than an hour and Dr. Notice and her awesome assistant did a great job. My tooth was out quickly and she was super attentive to any discomfort. Definitely a provider that truly takes patient care seriously. Thank you Catalina Smiles!

I have had extensive dental work done in the past 4 years. My experience at Catalina Smiles on Oracle has been wonderful. Dr Vu is extremely conscientious and has a very pleasant demeanor. I find the entire staff to be friendly and helpful.

I had nothing but great experiences. The team was great and they did a great job explaining everything that they were doing and listening to what I had to say. They kept me calm during all of my appointments and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

Very sketchy. Unprofessional/uninformed "general manager" that need more training. Trying to falsely claim a root canal from over a year ago. They do not know what their doing, not do they try and help. Them wanting you to do their job for them. Stay away they just want to milk you or your money.

Complete waste of time. First visit was 2 hours of taking xrays and looking at teeth. Lots of smiling friendly young ladies to try to keep you happy. The problem is that they are all about making money and not patient care. They try to pack on as many things as possible that are not covered by insurance. They would say, insurance would cover this, but we don't do it in this office. So we have a alternative, that will cost you a lot of money. Left without a cleaning and very unhappy. Run from this place!

I have been taking my 15 year old daughter here since she was about 7. Everything was always perfect. Now we come in and it takes entirely to long for a basic cleaning. I just figured ok fine I can deal with it, but then I was told my daughter has a cavity. Not only did the office girl Andrea interrupt me telling my child she shouldn't have a cavity, she told her it could be areaditary. Well thanks for giving her that excuse. When I said something to her she didn't even apologize for getting into the middle of it. I will not be going back.

After a crown failed, I dropped by the practice to see if it could be fixed. Jayde assisted me and made an appointment for me the next morning. My appointment with Dr Vu went very well. He gave me several treatment options and explained them to me thoroughly. I am a nervous patient and Dr Vu kept me advised throughout the process. I was most impressed with the practice and their professionalism. I will definitely return and highly recommend them.

Great staff, and I felt safe even during this COVID season. I usually hate going to the dentist, but my Dr. handled my pearly whites with utmost care. So glad to have found my go to Dentist!

2 hours and 15 minutes. That's how long it took for a basic cleaning. 45 minutes in the waiting room, and more or less 10-15 minutes in between x-rays, dentist, and cleaning. To be fair this was my first appointment here, but they forecasted 90 minutes for a first visit and this was 45 minutes over. I got there on time and two clients who arrived 10-15 after me went in and left before I did. The staff was very kind and personable, but I will not be returning. Side note: you're not fooling anyone reviewing your own Google My Business, Dr. Vu. That's called "Astro-turfing" in the SEO biz.
