Dr. Gagan Kohli completed his Masters from University of Alabama,Birmingham and has been practicing dentistry in California since 2002. He is Invisalign and Laser Dentistry certified. He believes in listening to all his patients and their needs and to treat them with the best possible care. He wants his patients to leave the office knowing that they have a friend in him.
When not practicing dentistry he enjoys arts, watching movies and traveling. He has traveled around Europe, East Asia and Mexico. He has a wonderful wife who is a Nephrologist practicing in Bay Area and a beautiful daughter Enaya.
Dr. Park received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California,Berkeley. Dr. Renee Park joined Union City Family Dental in 2019 as a General Dentist. For the past 15 years, Dr. Park has been helping people to achieve their best smiles through her work in community clinics and private offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego. For every patient whom she meets in the clinic, Dr. Park provides a thorough examination and develops an individualized plan that can help to address the patients needs. She performs general procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and extractions.
Dr. Katie received her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from UCLA. Then she went on to complete her dental training in University of Pennsylvania and General Practice Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She believes in kindness: being sympathetic to her patients' fears and anxieties, hearing their needs, and providing them with the best care possible.
She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and has live in the Bay Area with her husband since 2012 to be closer to family. In her spare time, she goes all around town with her two-year-old son. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and snowboarding.

I want to thank Castro Valley Family Dental for accommodating me on short notice. The receptionist was extremely friendly and both the dental hygienist and dentist were very professional. I am very satisfied with service. If my appointment ever gets cancelled from the Alameda office, I would come back to the Castro Valley office first. Thank you.

I had an good exam, but when it came to the cleaning the hygienist used an automated devise, which has turned out to have left me with a chronic infection, where none existed previously. It is most upsetting to have had this happen.

I've been using them for years with Dr Darnell and I was worried when he retired. They've treated me well, very friendly and accept payments. And they put up with me LOL

The doctor is great, nice and very professional and what I like most he is not pushing unnecessary work on the patient to make more money - an experience I had with others in the past.

I have panic attacks about going to the dentist. I followed Dr. John Nakhla here because he is the best. This time I saw Dr. James Wilson and he was great, too. Caring and patient doing a very difficult task on a patient with massive anxiety. I didn't care for the assistant who worked with him yesterday. But overall the staff is great and the quality of the work is outstanding. They've worked very hard on my behalf and I appreciate it
