Dr. Jennifer Young is from New York. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She continued another year there for a residency in advanced training in general dentistry. Since then, she has worked in various private practices ranging from solo dentist in an absent owner practice to being one of many dentists in a multi-specialty practice and is committed now as the dentist for Castro Valley Dental Care.
On a personal level, when Dr. Young is not working, she loves having quality time with her family (children Kelly and Tom) and friends. And, when time allows, you will find Dr. Young busy with fitness activities.
Martha has been in the dental field for over 5 years and is passionate about helping our patients with getting to their best dental health. Her other passion is being a doting mom to children Mike and Mia.
Laura brings over a decade of hygiene experience to CVDC. She is dedicated to helping our patients improve their smiles! On her days off, you might find Laura flying her plane or riding her motorcyle or just hanging out with her dog.
Lucia joined our team in 2019. She has been in the dental field as a RDA since 2016 and advanced to a RDAEF license in 2020. She brings great passion for dentistry and takes excellent care of our patients. Outside of work, Lucia cherishes her time with her two beautiful Huskies!
Julieta has been with us for over 25 years! She is zealous to make your dental visits as comfortable as possible. In addition to taking exceptional care of our dental family, she takes cherishes time with friends and family, especially her grandsons.
Carol was born and raised in Oakland, CA where she met and married my high school sweetheart. They have two boys and have lived in Castro Valley for the past 20 years. She brings years of dental experience to our team and takes great care of our patients. She loves interacting with our patients and our staff here is the BEST! We are truly one big happy family!!! Some activities she enjoys are baking, decorating, traveling, walking Lake Chabot and having great times with family and friends.

For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

In an effort to help our patients reach their dental needs both physically and financially, we will assist you in reaching a comfortable financial solution that will fit your situation. We have several private financing agencies available, including plans to help cover dental costs from crowns to complete cosmetic lifts. Your dental insurance is a product designed by your employer.

Very good experience with first visit. Teeth cleaning was thorough and gentle. Dr. Young was very attentive and asked the right questions. Scheduled two more appointments. One for a cavity fill and a six month teeth cleaning.

This office charged me a late fee because I missed my appointment while I was in LABOR having my baby. I told them not to schedule my appointment in the first place because it was around my due date. They left me no notices. The office also needs a lot of updating. There are so many offices in Castro Valley I'm surprised they don't try to make their office seem more updated. I will not come here again, and I do not recommend this place to anyone else.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and still have a lot of work I need done. I was scared and embarrassed, but this entire office made me feel so comfortable! Would (and do) highly recommend them to anyone in need of a great dentist.

Really bad experience with the office admins, there were no follow ups and was charged late fees of $80 without sending any notices. Really disappointed and would not recommend to anyone

After not visiting a dentist for over two years because of the pandemic and disappointment with another practice, Castro Valley Dental was truly a breath of fresh air. I was impressed with Dr. Young's credentials, caring attention to my concerns, her assistant, safety protocols, state of the art equipment, a knowledgeable insurance worker (Mary) who secured me an emergency appointment and a receptionist (Joan) who gave me a heartfelt welcome to the practice. My exam seat had a picturesque view of a garden (relaxing), and television. This is an unsolicited five-star recommendation. thoroughly pleased!

I was hesitant in visiting dental office due to Covid-19 but Dr. Aneja and her staff made me feel completely safe and comfortable in the environment. When you get there, they have you call from the parking lot to let them know that you are there. They will then tell you to go inside once everything was sanitized and cleaned. Safety protocol is in place all over the office. They have air purifier around the office plexiglass surrounding the front desk. This office has thought of it all for their patients safety. They take your temperature, pulse & oxygen before you are taken back to the operatory. Hand sanitizer throughout the office and everyone is well equipped with PPE. Hydrogen Peroxide mouth wash mixture are ready available for use which will minimize the germ transmission. My visit went very smoothly and I highly recommend Dr. Aneja to my family, friends and to anyone who is looking for a good Dentist.

I am terrified of the dentist! This has been my first experience with a dental office where I feel completely at ease. Every cleaning is painless, yes, truly painless. My teeth are not in the greatest of shape, and I am extremely self conscious. Never once have I felt judged, which I have felt that way with previous dental offices. The staff is AMAZING! From the moment I walk in to when I walk out I see a group of people who really love to work together, and it shows. Carol the office manager goes above and beyond to make sure my insurance covers everything it should. I actually had money returned to me after I gave her the correct information on my insurance. All the dental hygienist are knowledgeable, gentle and down to earth. Michael is not only gentle, but hilarious ! And The Dr. makes me feel taken care of. Overall, if you're terrified of going to the dentist for whatever reason look no further.

I went this dental care for annual checkup last December. I got a deep cleaning for my upper right teeth and just cleaning for the others. And I got a big bruise on upper right side for 3 weeks. yes, 3 weeks. Usually just numb for few hours and should be OK. But I felt numb for at least 2 weeks and bruise for 3 weeks. Worst thing is the hygienist called me few months later to set up my next appointment. I went back to see dentist to show my bruise cheek a week later so they knew how bad it was. I was shocked they didn't tell hygienist anything and make him to call me back. And he didn't apologized me at all. I understand it can be happened but no apologize was so disappointed. I completely don't recommend and ll never come back.
