Dr. Brandon Castor was raised in Cary, NC and lived there until he attended NC State University where he received a BS in Biology. After his time at NCSU, Dr. Castor went to dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
Following dental school, Dr. Castor returned to North Carolina to begin his career as a general dentist. For 5 years, he worked as an associate in an established practice, and learned about proving quality and compassionate dental care. In late 2016, Dr. Castor relocated to Greensboro and has been the owner and sole-dentist at Castor Family Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Castor is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Guilford County Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Society. He enjoys staying up to date with new developments in dentistry, and has found that his membership in the SPEAR study clubs to be an integral part of that.
Dr. Castor enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from simple fillings and cleanings, to more extensive crowns, cosmetic procedures, root canals and extractions. Patients of all ages are welcome to the office where they will find a dentist who treats each patient as an individual and will take time to discuss all aspects of their care.
Dr. Castor is married to his wife, Amanda, who is a kindergarten teacher at nearby Irving Park Elementary. They have a young daughter, Addison, and a porch-loving dog named Finley. In his free time, Dr. Castor enjoys supporting the NC State athletic teams, running, spending time with family, and taking part in his church.
Hi, my name is Tracy, and Ive been a Hygienist for the past 9 years after going to school at GTCC. My favorite thing about being a hygienist is helping people build their self-confidence through their smile. I grew up in Brown Summit, and currently live up the road in Reidsville with my husband, Will, and my 1-year old daughter Josey. I also have 5 dogs at home; 2 English Bulldogs, 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, and 1 Boykin Spaniel. In my free time, I enjoy photography, camping and hiking.
Hello! My name is Carrie and Im a Dental Hygienist at Castor Family Dentistry. I have been a Hygienist for 9 years since graduating in 2009 from GTCC. My favorite thing about my job is educating patients on how to best care for their teeth in a way that fits their lifestyle and my goal is patient comfort.
I grew up in Maryland but moved to Greensboro as a teenager so I guess you could say I did quite a bit of growing up here too! I met my husband in high school and weve been married for 18 years. We have two beautiful daughters that are 11 years apart and our only son is our boxer named Dexter. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I also help run my husbands plumbing business.
Hi, my name is Chrissy, and I am one of Dr. Castors assistants. I have been a dental assistant for the past 20 years since graduating from GTCC in 1999. My favorite part of assisting is helping the patients feel comfortable and relaxed while in our office. I grew up in Madison, and currently live in Stoneville with my husband, Brandon, and 2 sons, Cameron and Brody. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, camping, and being active at my church.

I had to have a crown today after breaking a piece of the tooth off yesterday. Dr. Castor and Chrissy did an excellent job of alleviating my fears and affixing the new crown. When I called on Tuesday to see if Dr. Castor could see me, Sharon did a fantastic job of making sure I was seen before the long weekend. Great job all around!

Today was my first experience with a dentist since August 2017 after separation from the military. I cannot express how pleased I was with my care, and the staff at Castor Family Dentistry. I listened as staff spoke to patients as if they were family and had been coming there an entire lifetime. I would recommend this dentist and his entire staff to anyone and everyone I met asking about dental care. Finding a group of people that still care about patients, where you're not just a number is rare at best. 10/10 have found my dentist for as long as I'm in Greensboro.

Great experience. My husband and I were new patients. We came in for our initial X-rays and cleaning. The facility was clean and appealing. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The technicians who cleaned our teeth were thorough yet gentle. I'm very pleased with our new family dentist!

Great experience as a new patient. Decided to go this office based on the reviews. The reviews are true, everyone was friendly and I felt welcome. The hygienist did a gentle but thorough cleaning. Dr. Castor was also very friendly and communicated throughout the examination. Also the lady at the front desk went above & beyond by scheduling my consultation at the oral surgeon for me. Would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a good dentist called around to i dont know how many dentists until i called doctor castor office and was welcomed as a patient. Dr. Castor, ms. Sharon and all the staff i have worked with have been awesome. I been to other dentist and not felt really welcomed there. If you are looking for a good dentist visit doctor castor and family
