Dr. Jacob Brown graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Prior to studying at dental school, he attended BYU in Provo, Utah where he received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology.
After completing his schooling, Dr. Brown entered the U.S. Army where he trained to become an officer and served as a general dentist at the Wiesbaden Dental Clinic Command in Germany. Additionally, he was the Director of the Red Cross Dental Assistant Training Program and Officer in Charge at the Wackernheim Dental Clinic.
After completing his service in the military, Dr. Brown settled in Idaho where he has since been practicing dentistry. His favorite pastimes include spending time with his wife and five daughters, playing soccer, snowmobiling, and water skiing. He also spends time keeping up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

Meet our friendly Eagle and Meridian dentist, Dr. Andrea Brown! Returning to Idaho from Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended dental school, Dr. Andrea Brown was overjoyed to move back to the Meridian area her old stomping grounds and the place she calls home. We contacted Andrea when we heard about her from a colleague, and when she came to visit, she immediately loved our beautiful practice and friendly staff. You may be wondering if Dr. Andrea Brown is related to Dr. Jacob Brown. Shes not. But we decided that two Dr. Browns are better than one! Dr. Brown lives with her husband, Justin, and two dogs, with whom the couple spends a lot of time walking and playing outside. The big trip to Idaho was a welcomed transition for the Brown family, as Justin grew up in Spokane, Washington, and is happy to be closer to his hometown, as well. We are excited to come back west and be back with the family, Brown said.
Dr. Brown grew up shredding the slopes of Bogus Basin on her snowboard. After spending time in the flatlands of Nebraska, she was more than ready to get back on the mountain in the winter. In fact, she has a season pass to Bogus and is making sure Justin takes up the sport, too.
She comes from a family of serious golfers (her sister is a club pro) and is a big golfer herself. And although Dr. Brown followed basketball and football during her time at Creighton University in Omaha, shes a Boise State fan at heart, having finished her undergraduate degree there. It wont surprise us if you catch Dr. Brown at a Broncos game sporting blue and orange this football season.
Dr. Brown is a very outgoing and helpful person, and really enjoys interacting with patients and educating them. A self-described people person, she loves talking with patients and getting to know them. Shes thrilled to be joining us, and were thrilled to have her.
Dr. Ashley Sara may be the newest addition to Castlebury Dental, but she is certainly not new to dentistry! Dr. Sara is excited to finally put down permanent roots in the Treasure Valley, having recently moved to Eagle to be near her family. She graduated at the top of her dental school class from the University of Connecticut in 2013 and has since practiced in Florida and Virginia. Prior to her dental education, Dr. Sara received her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama where she graduated with highest honors and a double major in Classics and Biology. She has completed extensive continuing education in Invisalign, pediatric care, root canal therapy, and restorative dentistry as she loves learning about new technology and dental treatments that can help her patients.
Dr. Sara lives with her two young children, Henry and Sienna. They enjoy being outdoors together while hiking, biking the greenbelt, or even just tending to their family garden. Dr. Sara also loves reading, quilting, Zumba, and Alabama football - though she promises to still cheer for Boise State. She is a very happy and positive person who loves working with patients of all ages and backgrounds and is proud to have made dentistry her chosen profession. Dr. Sara has a passion for helping people feel confident with a smile that is healthy and beautiful and can't wait to meet you at your next dental visit!
