Dr. Mike has called Colorado home since 1984. After graduating from high school in Colorado Springs, he attended the University of Iowa for both undergraduate and dental school. He entered the Air Force as a general dentist and was selected for two highly competitive residency programs first in general dentistry at Travis Air Force Base, CA, and a few years later in Pediatric Dentistry through Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Mike and his wife, Sheila, have two young boys and a Wheaten Terrier named Harriet. His kids are active in sports and you can often find Dr. Mike on the sidelines coaching their soccer and baseball teams.

Most importantly, Dr. Mike and his family are excited to be a part of the Castle Rock community and look forward to getting to know their patients outside of the office as they participate in everything that Colorado and Castle Rock have to offer!

Dr. Julia Wiegand graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors degree in Psychology. She then returned to her hometown of San Antonio and graduated from the University of Texas Health College of Dentistry in 2018. Following dental school, she and her husband moved to Dallas where she completed her pediatric dental residency at Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Julia and her husband, EJ, both love spending time outdoors with their dog, Aslan. They are excited to explore outdoor activities in Colorado, especially hiking and skiing. She played four years of varsity tennis at the University of Texas at Austin. Hook Em! Dr. Julia studied abroad in Spain during college and loves paella. She was inspired to pursue dentistry, and ultimately pediatric dentistry, by her father who was a dual specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. She is an avid reader and Harry Potter fan. She loves finding new books to read. Dr. Julia is member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Diana has worked in pediatric dentistry over 5 years. She started as an expanded functions dental assistant and has transitioned to the front office overseeing all day-to-day operations. Prior to dentistry she served our country for 8 years in the Army where she also met her husband. She is a devoted mother to 4 beautiful children that keep her very busy. In short, Diana is an unbelievable multi-tasker and will work endless hours to make sure your childs dental visit is the very best. She loves country music and almost everything Chicago, especially 'Da Bears.'

Ashley was born in Denver and raised in Littleton. She is no stranger to the medical field and spent 9 years as a surgical technician. She has 3 young boys and one wonderful big boy / husband. We are all a little confused how she maintains such perfect composure, especially when dealing with insurance companies. She enjoys family time and crochet. She spoils our office with wonderful food and she will spoil you with her wonderful personality and smile.

Therese has been in the dental field for over 22 years with the majority of that time spent in Grand Junction. Her current home is now Elizabeth where one of her favorite past times is sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee enjoying Colorados wildlife. Another equally favorite past time is daydreaming about insurance plans also with a cup of coffee. She is blessed with an amazing husband, two incredible sons and 3 beautiful grandchildren. She has a great sense of humor and works extremely hard to provide best possible service.

Julie grew up in Denver in a large family with 7 siblings. She quickly learned the art of survival and 'how to get along' which makes her invaluable when working with so many different people. She is blessed with an awesome husband and has 2 teenagers which add to her 'relaxing' home front. Before entering the dental world, she spent over 20 years working in the preschool and childcare fields. Her heart is a big as her smile and your child will find much comfort when Julie is around.

Brandi joined CRKD in 2019. She graduated from Concorde Career College and has been in the dental field since 2007. Originally from the great state of Texas, she has lived in Colorado since 2001. Some say everything is bigger in Texas and that might reflect Brandis outgoing, fun personality. She has an amazing ability to connect with the most anxious children (and parents) and this is one reason we are so excited she is part of our team. When not working in the dental office, she cherishes time with her amazing husband and son and two lovable dogs. Other things she enjoys are camping, playing disc golf and reading books. There is no doubt you will enjoy working with Brandi as much as she enjoys serving this great community of Castle Rock.

Meg has been working in the pediatric dental world since 2014 and recently joined our team in 2019. Meg moved from the East Coast to Castle Rock. Her east coast personality is hard to notice because she is always happy, smiling and one of the most courteous and professional individuals you will ever meet. She is dual trained to work both front and back office so there is a good chance you will cross paths with her during your childs dental visit. When she is not in the office, you can find her cheering on her sons baseball games, attending musical theater productions with her twin daughters (or just blasting music at home and singing and dancing along.) Her beautiful family is topped off with the best husband ever and we are so blessed Meg is part of our team.

Aside from all the fun we can have in the office, our location is perfect! We are affiliated with Castle Rock Adventist Hospital and can take advantage of the many benefits that provides. Dr. Mike is able to perform hospital dentistry with general anesthesia right here at home in the Castle Rock hospital and can coordinate multiple treatments for kids with additional medical needs. Also, our office is frequently visited by the hospital 's 'Angel Paws' therapy dogs, which is always a thrill for our patients!

Manna restaurant, located on the first floor of the hospital, has a world class chef-run kitchen providing homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can often catch Dr. Mike and his family grabbing a quick bite together for dinner there.

The Alexander building, where our office is located, also serves many other needs of families. Other medical offices in the building include two pediatrician groups, primary family care, OB/GYN and midwife services, dermatology, and physical therapy, to name a few.
