Spray, scrub, wipe repeat. Its our new favorite sound. Weve always been committed to the highest safety standardsbut now deep cleaning is done before, during and after visits even in the lobby. Our teams are geared up (literally watch the video) to sanitize equipment, chairs, tables, door handles, countertops etc. many times a day. And we dont stop there. PPE (think masks, gloves, gowns, and face shields) is worn by everyone in the office. Even patients get to take part by keeping masks on at all times except when being treated and doing a good disinfecting rinse before and after care.

Were checking to see if our patients (and staff) are healthy with a few questions and a temperature check every day, at every visit. Sounds a bit extreme? Youre right, extreme is good when it comes to patient safety and health.

Please do not go here! I had a horrible experience at this dental practice. The hygienist denied me the basic cleaning that my appointment was set for after I declined for them to perform an almost $300 additional service of deep cleaning on my teeth that they suggested. I have been getting my teeth cleaned annually for over 15 years and have never been presented with billing for an additional service that they suggested, and after I declined it - as a result be denied any type of service. I need the public to understand this clearly. Because I would not agree to pay for additional services before my cleaning was performed, the dental office would not go through with the original service that I came to have done. It was predatory and manipulative! The staff was very pushy and abrasive. I have never had service such as this, and have never been presented with a bill for basic cleaning. Anyone who has dental insurance knows that needs such as this are fully covered. Also, they presented the additional service to me without explanation that that service was not even required. If I hadn't had the presence of mind to ask more questions and inquire if it was normal to be billed for a basic cleaning, they would have charged me an exorbitant amount of unnecessary money! I need someone to reach out to me immediately about this. This practice is not concerned about the health of its customers, they are only concerned with getting paid! This location is going to get paid out of my policy for services that they did not provide, and I need help with this quickly so that no money is paid out to these predators!

I don't know how to put the words to say that I HATE this place. I have experience of 3 years straight as I had to go for my braces every single month. Well, it was super hard to get monthly appointment too. They promised me of maximum 12-18 months for my braces and it took 31 months because they don't have available appointments. I got appointments once in 2-3 months until I got upset with them and confronted. I regret for the decision to do braces with them. Poor customer service, they won't inform you if the appointment has canceled. I had couple of times coming to the office and saw the office was closed. Terrible long wait EVERY single time to hours, trust me I'm not exaggerating! I could not wait to take my braces off . Even my last day with them also was terrible. They don't have the mentality to learn from their mistakes and to improve their care. WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE.

I've been attending this location for about 4 years now? I've always felt safe and taken care of. I recently had an appointment and there were some misunderstanding. I felt they were able to clarify and tend to my concerns appropriately.

The worse place that I have ever been at. They quoted me an enormous amount for one tooth to be pulled and then when I said I couldn't afford it they said oh we weren't going to do it anyway you need to go to an oral surgeon because you need a bone graft. Since when do I need a bone graft to have a tooth pulled and everything was ok to pull the tooth until I said I couldn't afford it. They were dishonest and cheated me and I came there because I was in so much pain because my tooth broke in half. I will never set foot in the Castle Dental Sugarland ever again.

It was my first appt here and i just wanted a regular cleaning and was told that i needed a deep cleaning which would cost me over $1000 without having insurance even though i just had one 6 months prior at my previous dentist. They disregarded that info. I end up going to my previous dentist a month later and get my regular cleaning and am told that I have great hygiene and am taking care of my teeth very well......Im sorry but is this business that money hungry?

Why was I charged to purchase the Smile Plan in place of my insurance as giving me greater savings when they dont even cover the services I received?

Friendly staff and they work as a team efficiently to get my dental job done. They took the time to take care of my fillings and deep cleaning. I feel great! Definitely a good place to get your dental needs met!

I generally like the hygienist and the job performed cleaning my teeth. However, a series of recent events has compelled me to leave a poor review. We tried to schedule my wife to start going there. She was scheduled for an x-ray. She arrived. Then she was told that the x-ray machine wasn't working. There was no heads up. Wasted time, effort, and money by taking off from work. My wife went a 2nd time. Now the hygienist wasn't there that day. Again, no heads up. More wasted time/effort/money. My wife said forget this place and went elsewhere. I still continue to go there. Then my most recent appointment I get a text only 1 day beforehand asking to confirm my appointment for the next day. I reply 'C' on the text to confirm. I take time off from work to go in, and guess what, the hygienist is not there. No heads up. Wasted time/effort/money. This location does not respect their customers' time/effort/money.

The Receptionist wasn't friendly when I was having issues hearing him on the phone. After I had made my appointment time for Thursday he said "wear a mask" in a demanding tone. I took my business elsewhere. Establishment does take HMO.

The first time I came, 6/2/22, I waited for over 1hr to be seen by the dentist. Thankfully I asked how much longer the wait would be. Today I came to see the orthodontist and waited for over 45mins only for me to go up to the desk and find out she's no where close to being done with another patient. Each time I had to inquire about the delay. You can't be running behind everyday. And if you are running late, give the patient respect enough to update them, not them asking you. They have one more chance

We were there for an evaluation and quote for services. Lira at the front desk stuck with us while we waited on insurance to confirm coverage. Dr. was very kind and knowledgeable. Pricing was fair.

The Dental office is very clean, and the people are friendly, professional, and mot importantly knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a manner in which I understood. I feel comfortable going back for my next procedure.

My cleaning was rushed by the hygienist and took less than 10 min. The cleaning was incomplete compared to other dental offices. Dentist was cordial and professional. Equipment old and worn. Bathroom filthy with overflowing trash. I will not go back.

Not the friendliest staff (the doctor was short), false hours being advertised (I was advised to check-in, to my surprise on arrival, when the clinic was closed for lunch), dirty examination stations (see pic of the overhead light they used to look at my teeth) and overall surprisingly terrible experience. I went in for a wisdom tooth referral and they proceeded with an entire examination. I told them I just wanted basic photos and to talk to a doctor about an extraction, but they went out of their way to make me feel as uncomfortable as possible. A hundred photos later, and I was nowhere. Ladies at the front tried to soothe me and say it was all covered under my insurance anyway. A month later I received a bill from my dental insurance that I owe $250+. Ridiculous. I was excited that they could see me so soon last minute but I will not be coming back. I'd rather go somewhere out of network that will take care of me.

A terrible place. We had Deltacare HMO and this place was designated for us. My wife went there for a tooth pain. They took a bunch of Xray for the whole mouth. Then Dr. Vanessa Powell walked in, glanced at the xray, didn't even bother to do an oral exam, declared she couldn't tell what's wrong, prescribed a cleaning, told us to come in a week, and walked out. We spent over $250 in addition to insurance and didn't even know what was wrong and the pain persisted. She's either totally incompetent, didn't care, or just wanted to milk the maximum insurance money. Don't ever come to these chain stores! We went to Knights Court Dental the next day, a few xray and a thorough exam revealed a clear gum infection issue and Dr. Grace had a clear and working treatment plan. She charged me only $100 even though she didn't accept my insurance! So it is not a difficult case at all. It's just really bad practice at Castle Dental and its dentist.

The ladies at the front desk, and the doctor were very nice. However...I had taken time out of my week for a dentist appointment, expecting exrays and cleaning in my check up. After x-rays the doctor poked around, said all looked good, "come up front and we'll give you an estimate on your cleaning". With my MEC plan my x-ray was covered, but the "estimate" on my cleaning was $516! That's with my in network discount. I went to one of the more upscale dental offices in the area to compare. They quoted me $299 a year with 2 free cleanings and member discounts on other procedures. I'm thinking Castle Dental was planning a deep cleaning that I don't really need. Between that and the little my MEC plan did for me, I'm cancelling my dental plan and my upcoming appointment. I don't think I'll be going back to Castle Dental ever.
