Dr. Jennifer Diep, DDS was fantastic! I was looking for a new dentist and after getting recommendations for at least 20 I decided to just do some looking myself. I wanted one close to me and who could fit me in easier before the end of the year. She was very informative in explaining her recommendations for me and even went so far as to explain why she felt I wouldn't be a good candidate for replacing metal fillings with the composite resin - she could have just did it to sell me but she didn't. My wait time was nothing, I filled out the paperwork there since I forgot to fill it out online and as soon as I was done I went to get my X-rays and then she started her exam. The X-rays were also quick and the technician was nice. The staff at the front was the same. I was told by several dentists I spoke with that the cleaning would have to be done on a later appointment but Castle said it might happen (they don't guarantee it but they at least don't say outright no). Well, Dr. Diep also cleaned my teeth and I can honestly say it was the "BEST" cleaning I've every had, she was thorough and careful. My exam went well and no cavities to fill and my gums are overall in good health. I will admit I was wondering if she would be as good as a dentist that has been in business a long time but she was super and in my opinion, better than some of the ones that have been. Her attention to detail and patient care were great. Their offices are clean, the waiting room has a lot of seating so you don't have to sit right next to someone if you don't want to and they are conveniently located with easy access to get in and out of the parking lot. I recommend if you're looking for a new dentist to go see Dr. Diep and her team!

I had an unpleasant experience, from the front desk to the service it was really horrible. I have never dealt with such receptionist my entire life, the front office lady will tell you to wait while she make personal phone calls and gossip with other staff right in front of you with zero apology.

Don't go here for an emergency! I had to delay my surgery by over a month to wait for an insurance pre-authorization because they tried to charge me an out-of-pocket amount that was over $1,000 more than my insurance covered (after I had already provided my insurance info and confirmed the surgeon was in-network). For context, that is over THREE TIMES the amount than I actually had to pay. No clue where they get any of their quotes from, because the total quote they tried billing my insurance was about $2,000 more than the maximum negotiated rates for each line item. Borderline criminal billing practices, not sure how that's even legal.

I want to start off by saying this was one of the worst dental experiences I've ever had. The only pleasant thing about this visit was the sweet woman who worked the front desk. Whenever I initially call to schedule this appointment they said they could do the x-rays and extraction same day for a broken tooth I wanted removed because of severe pain. The dentist denied the option for me to have it extracted and said I needed a root canal and crown. Once the front desk was going over the estimate she explained the pricing for what that would cost and that's when I stated I wanted an extraction instead. Because to get a root canal and crown they would not do it at this location and said the soonest appointment would be in Killeen and they would only evaluate it that day and then I'd have to see the doctor again another day. But if I wanted it done all in the same day I would have to go to Georgetown to have that done. But that would be a week away and then I told them again how much pain I'm in and then I cannot wait that long and that I'd take it off work because I was told I would be able to have it taken care of today. Office was so understaffed I had to leave so they could go to lunch and then come back for the extraction which took an hour and 50 minutes. In total I was at this office from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a tooth extraction. They mentioned nothing of an infection in this tooth until I came back for an extraction after lunch. The dentist did not go over what needed to be done and was unprofessional and so was the dental assistant with a horrible attitude. The environment did not seem clean. Whether it was my blood on the tools connected to hoses or other person's blood on the tools I would think you should wipe it off. The dentist was going from patient to patient waiting on my anesthesia shots to kick in not once did I see her wash her hands, just change gloves and she had a very hard time extracting a tooth to the point where I was in trembling pain. It took an hour and 50 minutes for them to extract the tooth where they kept loosening it and giving me more shots and leaving the room to tend to other patients while I lay there in pain. Then after I had to wait in the lobby to pay whenever I offered to pay before extraction. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone ever. I hope this review makes someone reconsider going to this location so that they do not have the traumatic experience I had.

Customer service in the area of communication and getting appointments scheduled for ortho services and cleanings is really really bad. They hardly ever answer phones nor return voicemail messages; this was before, during and after the pandemic. You, the customer, really have to work and commit to frequent follow up calls and even taking time off work to walk-in to get appointments scheduled (and they will likely refer you to another CLOSED office in that event); despite paying thousands of dollars for ortho service. Then with all of their MONTHS in delay in getting consistent treatment the schedule of correction is thrown off, and when the contract has ended they will have the nerve to try to charge more for each service treatment. I went through this with their sister company Bright Now Dental in California and looks like they are repeating the same seemingly unethical behavior.

Went here back in 2019 and was kind of bothered by the experience. Felt I was being pushed too heavily like someone at a used car lot. I went there with chip in my tooth (among other things) which my insurance didn't cover. They recommended I get a crown ($2700 out of pocket). I said no, and they proceeded to make passive aggressive comments about how "the gap fill looks alright, it would obviously look a lot better with a crown" and "the gap fill isn't going to last long, you it'll last a lot longer if you get a crown" throughout the rest of my visit. I understand that it would look better with a crown, but please stop trying to shame me into the decision. Up to this point, I was content to just not go there anymore, but here we are, three years later and I get a call from them saying I owe them money! No explanation of what that money is for, why they waited 3 years, why insurance didn't cover it, nothing. Just a "you owe us $X, do you want to pay now or set up a payment plan?" out of the blue. Long story short, I never thought people would try to hustle me at a dentist of all places, and lord knows I'm never going back.

The worst experiences ever. I would not recommend them to anyone. All though the last orthodontist we saw for the last two visits was great and Sally. That's the only reason I gave them 2 stars.

This is literally the worst dental office ever. I was scheduled for a simple cleaning today and I've been sitting here for almost two hours and still waiting. The dental assistant has been very nice but I am so incredibly annoyed. I'll find another office going forward.

Castle Dental O'Connor is beyond unprofessional. They either don't have things running smoothly, you constantly hear staff arguing with each other at front desk, talking bad and out load about their manager, you get the constant run around when questions are asked about services if they can even answer it. The front lead seems very untuned with her role to smile and provide great service. Our last visit we even heard another customer complaining his child would be wearing braces for 5 years due to the way castle dental was treating them.. can't wait for this braces journey with castle dental to be complete for my child.

I'm new to CD and so far so great! I've enjoyed Jaime who cleaned my teeth and Dr. Chi. I've also seen Dr. Gilbert who is very professional and kind. The front desk staff is always warm and welcoming and the One Smile plan has helped tremendously with payments for services. I've found a great, affordable option for my families dental care needs through CD.

Castle Dental O'Connor is way beyond unprofessional and do not recommend this place at all. I had me orthodontic treatment at Castle dental OConnor site, and the doctor kept giving me unnecessary treatment through the planned 1.5 year treatment and eventually damage my teeth root! I can list several ridiculous treatment I received. 1) After 9-month treatment the doctor put rubber bands to correct my biting for 5 weeks. Since I had jaw bone click when open mouth, so I only wore it for a couple hours on the first day. When I visited the doctor before I told her what happened, she said : wow, it looks much better! The rubber band works! yep, that is what the doctore said! I told her acturally I did not wear the band, then she responded: "ennn but I do think it is better". Is that a joke? 2) My doctor opened another clinic- Big Smile after she left the Castle dental, but did not give the patients any notification, and when I went back to the treatment, the new doctor asked me to take another X-ray otherwise she can not start her treatment. Fine , I did. Then she found lots of issue during the previous treatment, like my lower teeth were pulled forward too much, making the roots barely embeded in the gum! I told the doctor my teeths at the beginning of my treament my teeth are totally fine which could be visualized from the X-ray. They doctor said, oh I am sorry, but I can fix it, and also I recommend you to see our periondentist and they can give you some dental implant suggestion! I just can not believe they say that. So that means before they can give me a "beautiful smile", they sent me to see periondentis instead. The most ridiculous thing is that this doctor only gave me 2 treatments, and then Castle dentle informed me that this doctore terminates her job here and they do not have orthodontist at O'Cornnor, so I have to go to Pflugerville to see another doctor! These are just part of the ridiculous treatment I received from Castle dental, and believe me, I am not the only one. Because one of my college and one of my friend also received orthodontic treatment their, and they had the same story!!

Castle Dental O'Connor is beyond unprofessional. I had couple of bad experiences with this location and I'm never going to visit castle dental again. This place does not seem running smoothly. Looks like there is not enough doctors. Had to wait for 45 minutes from the appointment time and left. Never recommend anyone to this location.
