Dr. Jon W. Cassell began his dental career at Loma Linda University, where he received his Doctorate and was recognized for his outstanding performance in oral pathology, anesthesia, and pediatric dentistry. Before getting his dental training, he received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Pacific Union College.
When he has time off, Dr. Cassell participates in community outreach programs such as Toastmasters and Rotary Community Service Club. He also volunteers to work with the students at Nazareth Catholic School in San Diego.
Hoa obtained her A.S. degree from San Joaquin Valley College Dental Hygiene Program in Rancho Cucamonga. She has been a valued member of our Hygiene team for over two years now. She provides the best quality care for her patients by consistently completing thorough cleanings, sharing her knowledge of effective oral home-care, and expanding her skills through continuing education courses. Shes passionate about her profession and looks forward to making a difference in the experience each patient has in our office.
Lynette is a North County local, born and raised in Encinitas. She graduated top of her class from San Joaquin Valley College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a ball of energy who has a love for providing optimal care for her patients. When not with patients, shes planning her next adventure. She has a bright passion for traveling and has been to almost twenty foreign countries. Lynette also loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, running on the coast, and dancing up a storm to salsa music.
Janet prides herself on her genuine interest in her patients well being. Giving personalized attention, she is very thorough and detail-oriented. She offers a conscientious, gentle touch, with a skilled hand. As a graduate from Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program in 2007, Janet continues her education by attending courses each year. Janet caters to the specific dental needs of patients with a strong focus on patient education. In her spare time, Janet enjoys trips to Disneyland and spending time with her husband and two fur kidsa bloodhound and a Shepherd mix.

I have been a patient of Dr Cassell for a couple of decades. I am very happy with his services and have never had a reason to look for alternatives. With my visit yesterday and after my cleaning by the hygienist, he did a quick, unscheduled procedure that saved me a second visit. When major procedures were completed, I have always received a phone call from Dr Cassell himself that evening to check on me. Great dentist, great staff. I highly recommend Cassell Dentistry!

Dr. Cassell was friendly, professional, and thorough, as was the hygienist. Their office and technology is up-to-date without being unnecessarily flashy - the hand-held x-ray particularly improves on the old dentist office experience. And it was nice to have a view of the San Diego blue sky during a dentist visit.

I started going to Dr. Cassell 5 years ago, at the recommendation of other family members who have been patients for much longer. He is by far the best dentist that I have ever had -- and I have spent many hours in a dentist chair. Dr. Cassell and his staff really care about the patient. I have had fairly extensive dental work at his office, and he is gentle, informative, and the perfect dentist for me! Thank you Dr. Cassell and Hoa. You're the best!

I came to Dr Cassell after a very long time of avoiding the dentist. My old roommate recommended me to him and it was the BEST decision I ever made to follow up with his office. Hands down the most amazing dentist/hygienists/receptionists/all personnel... I am a "nervous flyer" and the whole team has gone above and beyond for me. I am thankful to have such a great bunch of professionals.
