Dr. Cassano received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickerson University where she received the Golden Scale Award for outstanding clinician. She then continued on to receive her Degree in Dentistry from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received the Complete Denture Award. With over 24 years experience, Dr. Cassano utilizes her artistic ability to create the most aesthetic smiles.
She attends numerous seminars and employs state of the art technology to deliver comprehensive dental care in a gentle manner. Dr. Cassano volunteers time with Sgringbrook TWIG which supports various programs for Morristown Hospital. Dr. Cassano is a member of the American Dental Tri-County Dental Association.
Dr. Ellen Patterson completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University where she spent many volunteer hours at the dental clinic of what is now Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She pursued her dental education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers Dental School) and then completed a General Practice Residency Program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 1993. Dr. Patterson has been with Hackettstown Family Dental since 2013. Dr. Patterson enjoys running and cycling and relaxing with her husband and two children and their dog.
Dr. Teresa Bijaks career in dentistry began while she was still in HighSchool. Her first job was in a dental office where she developed a passionfor dentistry. She went on to graduate from Rutgers University and then in1998 from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (currently renamedRutgers Dental School) with a Gamma Pi Delta Honors Society. Dr. Bijak isBi-lingual in English and Polish. She works closely with her patients tocreate a dental care plan that fits their individual needs. In Dr. Bijaksfree time she loves spending time with her son, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Shealso has a love of the outdoors.

The dentists and hygienists have been great. They remind me of regular checkups by text. The wait is not long when you arrive. And they even fit you in if you have a dental emergency. Nobody wants to go to the dentist, but they make it pretty painless. Thanks.

My experience at this office was great! friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. For months I was experiencing bleeding gums. My previous dentist never explained to me why and what causes it. The dental asst/hygienist (I forgot her name) did a deep cleaning and explained the reason for my bleeding gums. Turns out it's early signs of gingivitis! If not taken care of correctly I could lose my teeth! My mouth felt brand new after she was done! Pick your dentist wisely! Your oral health depends on it!

I highly recommend Hackettstown Family Dentistry. I've been a patient of Doctor Theresa Cassano for many years. I drive almost 50 miles just to get there whenever I have an appointment for either routine cleaning or any other dental work. The staff that works there are very professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. I have no relationship with anyone in this office but I'm treated as if I'm a family member every time I go. Anyone living close to this dentist practice is so fortunate to have expert care so close to home.
