Due to the recent changes associated with providing orthodontic care in Washington State, in combination with the necessity of social distancing, we are happy to announce we are going to be doubling the amount of available patient days and simultaneously reducing the number of patients that we see per day by greater than 50%. In order to make this possible, Dr. Ehrmantrout has partnered with Dr. Hector Bush, who has over 20 years of experience, and he will be exclusively dedicated to your services and needs.

Dr. Hector Bush received a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Howard University in 1987. In 1991, Dr. Bush graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. In 1994, Dr. Bush earned his 2-year Certificate in Orthodontics from the Howard University School of Dental Medicine where he also completed his Graduate Orthodontic Residency.

Dr. Bush has recently moved to the area. For more than 20 years, Dr. Bush has been committed to providing quality orthodontic treatment to children and their families throughout the state of Georgia. Illustrating this commitment, he established the Share a Smile Program in 1994. Since launching the program, he has partnered with various organizations and has donated orthodontic care to children throughout the state of Georgia. He has partnered with the Methodist Home, the Beatrice Carey Steel Pitts Orphanage, Congressman Jim Maddox, and Dr. E.T. Walton.

In 2010, Dr. Bush had the honor of re-naming The Share a Smile Program, to The Dr. Andrew Young Sr. Share a Smile Program, in acknowledgement of the legacy of Dr. Andrew Young Sr., who practiced dentistry in New Orleans for almost 60 years, and is the father of civil-rights icon Ambassador Andrew Young Jr. Dr. Bush received the 2019 Howard University Distinguished Alumni award from the school of Dental Medicine. Currently, Dr. Bush is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Washington State Dental Association, as well as the North Georgia Dental Society.

Dr. Ehrmantrout grew up in Olympia and graduated from Capital High School in 1996. He proceeded to the University of Washington, and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business in 2000. At the University of Washington, Dr. Ehrmantrout was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies. Following Dr. Ehrmantrouts undergraduate training, he was accepted to the University of Washington School of Dentistry, one of the premier dental schools in the US.

After graduating from dental school near the top of his class in 2004, Dr. Ehrmantrout pursued his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. There, he trained under many well-known leaders in the orthodontic specialty, and became exceptionally proficient with the latest technological advances in orthodontics and dentistry.

Hi, I am a born and raised Washingtonian and absolutely love the outdoors! Entering the dental field later in my adulthood, I graduated dental assisting school top of my class in 2001. I have found orthodontics to be the most rewarding of my dental career. I was the first employee at Cascade Orthodontics, and have already been a part of affecting many families lives with positive smile stories!

In my spare time, I enjoy movies, hiking and camping with my family and friends. Happily married for more than 20 years, we have two grown children and a little Shmorkie pup named Lovie. Traveling the world is a dream I will live out one day, but for now, I am eager to meet your family and watch the transformation of your smiles as you grow with us at Cascade Orthodontics.

I have had the pleasure of working in the dental field for more than 24 years, and am enjoying being a part of the Cascade Orthodontics Team!The orthodontic field is by far my favorite, and where my heart belongs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and especially at the farm where I get to love on the horses. Although many know my 'happy place' is amongst the animals, I am filled with joy daily as I watch our patients grow with Cascade!!

Hello, I have been assisting since 2008. I studied at Seattle Central Community College in a dental assistant program for general dentistry. During this time, I too was in orthodontic treatment. I had an opportunity to do part of my externship in my orthodontist's office. I found that I really enjoyed orthodontics! My heart specialized in helping those who come into the office fearful of not knowing what to expect. I pride myself on my work, and this shows through in the smiles of the patients when they leave the chair.

When I'm not at work, I am a busy mom of two small kids, juggling soccer and school. I have been married almost 18 years! The simple things in life are what I enjoy best, such as taking walks with my dogs Sula and Duke. Combing the beaches for treasures with my kids or spending time with family and friends are also things I treasure.

The Pacific Northwest is where I was born and raised. I have two beautiful daughters and a big, goofy husband whom I love to spend all of my time with. We love to travel, work out, go to comedy shows, concerts, and eat! I believe family should always come first!
