Dr. Andy is married to high school sweetheart, Karen, and they have two children who are now young adults. How old were you, and what made you decide you wanted to become a dentist?I had a great role model as a dentist when growing up. He was a family friend, a great guy, and a great dentist. I made my mind up at age 7.

What is one thing you find most satisfying about being a dentist?I enjoy building relationships with my patients in a mutually trusting environment. When everyone works together, great things can be accomplished.

What advice would you give to a young person considering a career in Dentistry?I would have them hit the sciences hard in school. Science is a window to reality and is deeply fascinating. You dont have to be a nerd to appreciate the natural beauty quantified in science. Besides that, observe several dentists in their practice. Dentists are fine people. Find a mentor whose practice you respect and admire and build around that.

Why did you choose Cascade Dental?I enjoy sorting out complex problems involving the jaw joint (TMJ), correcting bites (occlusion) and arriving at finished results that takes years off a patients appearance (esthetics). The dentists and hygienists at Cascade Dental Fishers Landing are all uncompromising in their service to patients. The advanced training skills I have to offer are seen as important in their eyes, and they dont hesitate to have their patients see if they feel I can improve their quality of life. Also, Im a positive person, and this is an office full of great attitudes!

Daniel E Wilson, DMD was born in West Palm Beach. Dr. Wilson calls the Northwest home and has lived here for the majority of his life. After moving from Florida at age 1, his family moved to Puyallup, WA. Dr. Wilson called Puyallup home for six years.

After living in Puyallup, Dr. Wilsons family moved to Singapore. The Wilson family lived in Singapore for six years. His family decided to move back to the United States, and they called West Linn, OR home. Daniel E Wilson graduated Valedictorian from West Linn High School. Then, he went on to earn his bachelors degree from Santa Clara University in California.

Daniel E Wilson earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2001. Immediately following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the VA Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

He has been practicing and living in Clark County since 2002. Before 2014, Dr. Wilson and Dr. David Nutter shared a practice together. Unfortunately, through the years, Dr. Wilson has had four surgeries in the base of his tongue and mandible to remove a highly aggressive tumor.

In 2014, doctors decided after the most recent operation that subsequent chemotherapy and radiation was the next course of treatment. He then sold his half of the dental practice and took five months off to recover. Fortunately, all the MRIs have come back negative, and he has been doing great.

Dr. Wilson has a passion for continuing education and loves the opportunities that the newer technology provides to great care to his patients. One area of particular interest is with CEREC technology. CEREC (Same-day crowns) technology is an area where Dr. Wilson has grown to love, and his patients at Cascade Dental in Vancouver, WA are so excited about the service he can provide. He is a Mentor and Visiting Faculty member with the CEREC Doctors group.

In addition to technology, Dr. Wilson has loved providing help for patients that struggle with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. He will work with you and your physician to provide you with the best options.

Dr. Wilson loves to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit other parts of the United States and teach other dentists about newer technologies in dentistry. When Dr. Wilson and his wife are not touring and teaching advanced dental techniques, he can often be seen chasing around his four children with their sports and activities. He has been active in coaching the boys or sometimes serving on the board for his childrens activities.

Dr. Wilson grew up playing and watching sports, with golf, baseball, and basketball being his favorites. He loves the outdoors and enjoys golfing, tennis, running and working out, water sports, and snow skiing. Moreover, during those quieter moments, he likes to sit down with a good book and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

I was in college when I finally made the decision to pursue a career in dentistry.A good friend and local pediatric dentist, Dr. Peter Lubisich III was a father figure and mentor to me.His passion for the profession generated a desire to pursue a career in dentistry, allow me to see this challenging field as a great opportunity to help patients.

I have had the privilege of watching 3 patients choose a field in dentistry.I have also been fortunate enough to share my passion with high school students or college students interested in learning about dentistry.For all of them, I encourage them to learn as much about what we do on a daily basis with different doctors that are excited about their profession. I encourage them to find a career that get them excited to grow and learn.I am lucky to love what I do each day, and love that in the process I am able to help patients.

I love changing a patients outlook about the dentist.All too often, we hear the words, Im sure you are a nice guy, but I hate the dentist. It may not happen overnight, but I love seeing those patients that wouldnt come in for years, look forward to their next visits because of the trust they have in the care we provide for them.

Dr. Holly Stagg was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She received her Bachelors of Science degree at Pacific Union College in the Napa Valley in 2001. After that, she attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2005 with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). After completing school, Dr. Stagg practiced dentistry in Las Vegas, Arizona, and Southern California, before joining Cascade Dental in Vancouver, WA. She decided to move home to be closer to friends and family.

Dr. Stagg thoroughly enjoys the art of dentistry and is passionate about quality and building lifelong relationships with her patients. She enjoys making a positive difference in a patients oral health and maintaining smiles that are beautiful and functional for the rest of their lives.

Dr. Stagg has been blessed with 3 amazing children, Klaire, Soren, and Haaken who have changed her world and keep her busy on her days off. Dr. Stagg enjoys ending the day with a good book and is an avid reader. She and her husband, Marshall, love spending the weekends outdoors hiking, camping or relaxing at the beach.
