Dr. Ritchie grew up in the small western Kansas community of Wakeeney. She is a third-generation Jayhawk who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas. While attending KU, she was a varsity member of the womens tennis team, a Kansas scholar-athlete, and on the deans list. Dr. Ritchie went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with honors in endodontic studies.
Upon graduation, Dr. Ritchie went to Nashville, Tennessee, where she joined a multi-specialty dental practice. During these years, she gained additional experience in the areas of pediatric and cosmetic dentistry, conscious sedation, and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Ritchie loves to serve patients of all ages while providing a personalized approach to comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Jamie Ritchie is married to Dr. Coleman Ritchie, MD, who is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist. They have a son, Liam, and two miniature dachshund fur babies named Leon and Banks. Dr. Ritchie likes to run, play tennis, and is obsessed with all things KU, whether it be basketball, football, volleyball, or Baby Jay!
Dr. Jones grew up in Overland Park, KS, and graduated from Kansas State University in 1987. He then pursued the field of dentistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas School of Dentistry in 1992 and later graduated in 1996.
Dr. Jones is a general dentist who has practiced dentistry since 1996 in Lawrence, KS, and has been with Cascade Dental Care since February 2009. He enjoys working with all of his patients and hearing their concerns. Dr. Jones likes to solve problems and find the best treatment options for each patient.
Dr. Brent enjoys talking to other doctors about interesting patient case studies where they can collaborate. He loves to play soccer, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, and enjoys outdoor activities. One of his favorite activities is riding his side-by-side through the many trails that this beautiful state has to offer.
Dr. Glendening attended the University of Kansas and obtained his bachelor of pharmacy degree in 1980. He then went on to the University of Missouri-Kansas School of Dentistry for the next four years where he got his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In addition to his education, Dr. Glendening also pursued a bachelor of animal science in 1997 at Fort Hays State University.
Dr. Kurt Glendening practiced dentistry in Hays, KS, for twenty-eight years before moving to Lawrence in 2014. Dr. Glendening has worked as an associate for Dr. Ritchie since 2018 and has enjoyed getting to know the patients in the Lawrence area. He loves sharing his widespread knowledge of dentistry with his fellow dentists, staff, and patients.
Dr. Glendening and his beautiful wife, Carol, have been blessed with three children and three grandchildren! The couple always enjoys watching them grow and are amazed at how fast time flies. Dr. Glendenings hobbies include traveling to new places, golfing, and enjoys going for walks with his family.

I AM grinning from ear to ear! I had the best ever visit this morning, but I probably talked too much and got everyone behind schedule. Monica and I had the best laughs together, and Dr. Ritchie is fantastic! Jennifer and Brian (Bryan?) at the front desk were really nice, too, and professional. What a difference it makes to change my dentist! Thank you, everyone...I could not have had a better dentist appointment.

I have extremely severe anxiety and have not been to a dentist in many years because of it. I finally got myself to go, and the dr. that I saw today was phenomenal. I didn't feel judged at all for the state of my teeth or for my anxiety. They were really communicative and kind and offered me many ways to help curb my anxiety while in their office. The hygienist that saw me today was the sweetest too, and she was very very gentle and patient with me. I really look forward to working with them in the future and am so so relieved to have found a place like this one! I'd also like to note that both of the people that were at the desk when I came in and when I left today were so very welcoming and kind as well. Overall a fantastic experience and I felt really comfortable!

Your back office is completely incompetent, including your office manager Angie. Apparently I had a balance from 2019 that I had NEVER received because they never contacted me to get an updated address after I moved. All address forwarding was set up so I highly doubt that statements were ever sent out in the first place. The best part is, I called to make a payment on this because I wanted to get it out of the way and Angie told me that she could try to take a payment and update the collections company that it's paid but no promise that it'll be resolved with them. THEIR MESS UP AND IM THE ONE PAYING FOR IT.

I've always had great experiences with Cascade, and today's visit was no exception. I had a chipped filling that needed to be replaced, not an emergency at all, but they got me an appointment in less than a week, and the procedure today took maybe 25 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left. The dentists, hygienists, assistants and other staff are always kind and pleasant, and I'm a very satisfied regular.

Cascade Dental is by far my favorite dentist and I've moved plenty to speak to this! They are warm and welcoming, professional, and very competent. I am not sure how I'll survive without Oraspa; thanks, Amy and wonderful team at Cascade!

My hygienist was amazing friendly and gentle it was ... the best experience ever and I've been a patient for 8 years ! The staff is pretty amazing ! And they are on point with air purifiers and latest technology ... awesome place !
