Hello, my name is Brandon Kofford. I grew up in Midvale, UT until I was 19. After that, the world completely opened up to me! I lived in Maceio, Brazil for 2 years, teaching the wonderful people of that part of the world principles of a happy life. I learned to love the Portuguese language as well as the Brazilian people. Upon my return, I resumed my University studies at Brigham Young University. At Brigham Young I had two objectives:

Cary Prosthodontics - General dentist in Cary, NC

(I succeeded on both objectives!) Marian, (the most beautiful, talented, kind, loving, thoughtful, intelligent and incredible woman in the world) and I got married in May 2004 and shortly after moved out to Cleveland, OH so I could begin my career in (and love affair with) DENTISTRY.

Dental school, among many things, was extremely EXPENSIVE, and as a young married couple anxious to start a family, Marian and I decided to accept a US Air Force Scholarship for dental school. It turned out to be an extraordinary decision! After dental school, the Air Force accepted me into their prestigious Prosthodontics residency program. I learned from some of the most dedicated and intelligent clinician 's I have ever known. Col Mattie as my program director and his team of staff members: Col Taylor, Col Longo, Col Guillory, Col DeFreest, Col Phoenix, Col Sutton, Col Villalobos, etc. were an incredible team. (And just to point out the obvious, that 's a lot of Colonels!) Those mentors prepared me well to present my knowledge and training to the American Board of Prosthodontists. I became a Board Certified Prosthodontist in December of 2011, a 'crowning' achievement in my career!

After successfully completing my residency program, and earning my Masters of Science degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, the Air Force sent me and my young family (by then 4 children) to RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, England. Again, what an incredible opportunity! For 3 years I served as the Director of Prosthodontics for a military population in excess of 30,000 active duty and their dependents, mentoring 29 clinicians, from Captains to Cols, in all things Prosthodontics, and I served as the Base Dental Laboratory Flight Commander, overseeing and directing the operations of a 10 man dental laboratory. Life was busy but good in England. Leaving the Air Force was not an easy thing to do, but the right decision for a family with 6 young children. Marian and I decided that anywhere we moved to in the states would be closer to our families than where we were in England, so we looked for the best place to raise our 6 children. Can it get any better than Apex/Cary, NC?! We didn't think so, and now here we are! We absolutely love living here in Apex and working in Cary. I was thrilled when Dr. Karen Bruggers invited me to take stewardship over the practice that she had worked so diligently to establish as a center for advanced prosthodontic treatment in the Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Raleigh and Garner areas. It is with humility and gratitude that I dedicate my service and my training to honoring Dr. Bruggers' legacy in Cary Prosthodontics.

Hello my name is Andrea. My friends call me GG. I was born in Wuppertal Germany and moved to the U.S. in 2007. In 2020, I became a U.S. Citizen. I have a son who is 21 years old and is a senior at SLU University. In my free-time I enjoy kickboxing, Zumba, playing tennis, and baking. I also like taking trips to the beach.

In 1986, I started my dental assistant education. I then made the choice to further my career by becoming a dental hygienist in 1998. When in Germany, I worked for the same office my entire career until I decided to move to the United States of America. I joined Cary Prosthodontics in March 2021 and am so happy to be a part of this family.

Hi, my name is Brandy. I moved from my native state, Ohio, in May 2018. I started in the dental field as a dental assistant in 2009. After nearly five years of assisting, I transitioned to dental administration which has included scheduling, overseeing all aspects of insurance and finances, and managing a practice. I enjoy working with the highly skilled doctors at Cary Prosthodontics and making sure all patients have a pleasant experience.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as my dog. I love attending rock concerts, shooting, watching Ohio State University football games, and taking beach vacations. I look forward to making sure that you have a great experience at Cary Prosthodontics!

I am originally from Colombia and grew up in California. I got my degree from the University of the Pacific and have been a dental hygienist for 15 years. During this time, I have practiced in different states and overseas. I love the life-changing experiences we provide our patients and the fun and supportive work environment at Cary Prosthodontics.

I am a senior studying Nutrition Science with a minor in Business Administration at North Carolina State University. I hope to attend dental school after graduating. I worked as an assistant lab technician at Real Time Dental Lab before starting as a sterilization technician and dental assistant at Cary Prosthodontics earlier this year.

My name is Nelidia and I have been a member of the Cary Prosthodontics Team since 2019. Dr. Kofford gave me the opportunity to start here as a sterilization tech. After taking some courses and gaining experience, I became a dental assistant. I really like working here and being surrounded by this special team.

I am originally from Cuba which taught me to value every moment and to work hard for what I want. I love enjoying family moments, cooking, dancing, and being outdoors. I like caring for plants, mostly succulents and bonsai, because it relaxes me.

I'm from Colombia. I have been working in the dental field for 14 years. I worked in a private practice in Atlanta, GA for 10 years until I moved to NC with my family in 2018. I love getting to know my patients and being there with them during their process of transforming into healthy and beautiful smiles.

I love spending time with my 3 boys and my husband. We enjoy doing all things outdoors whether it is boating, biking, fishing, skiing, soccer, or any other outdoor activity. The most unique thing people like learning about me is that I have two pet pigs, Tyler and Oliver!
