Born and raised in India Dr. Prathi now calls NC her home. Coming from a family of Doctors, as both her Brother and Sister are surgeons, She learned early on of the positive impact of gentle and compassionate care for the patients.
Dr. Prathi Mudalapuram has been a dentist since 2008. She received her under graduate dental training (Bachelors of Dental Surgery BDS) and also received a Masters of Dental Surgery(MDS) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in India.She is a proud graduate (Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS) of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California.
In addition, 10+ years in the dental field, Dr. Prathi has both clinical and dental research experience. Her clinical experience extends from community clinics and hospital-based dentistry to private practices. She is an member of the American Dental Association and the Indian Endodontic Society.
Dr. Prathi is an Invisalign Gold Provider and a member of the AACA (American Academy of Clear Aligners). She is an active member of the Raleigh AACA study club led by the nations top Invisalign provider, Dr. David Galler.
Dr. Prathi believes dentistry is a conservative balancing art. She believes she owes it to her patients to stay as up-to-date as possible by attending continuing education and on the latest technology as dentistry is an ever-changing field. With proper education, preventative care, and early diagnosis, patients can be fully educated on how to best treat and preserve their oral health. Whatever your oral concerns may be, Dr. Prathi and her team will provide you with an individualized and effective treatment plan.
When asked about her approach to dentistry, Dr. Prathi stated, My goal is to create a relaxing and comfortable environment for my patients, resulting in a positive dental experience. I love meeting new patients and spending time to educate them, thus forming a great partnership towards improving oral health.

I recently moved to Cary, when my front tooth chipped. I walked into Cary Dental Arts looking for help. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Dr. M fixed the problem. My tooth looks great. I'm so happy I walked in, because now I have a great dentist!

Dr. Prathi and her team are the best! I had a veneer done here and throughout every step of the process I felt taken care of! My needs were always listened to and my (many) questions always answered. Dr. Prathi did a perfect job! I would recommend Cary Dental Arts for all of your dental needs.

Dr. Prathi, is such a joy! Easy to talk to and and true artist in dentistry. She has really helped transformed my smile with my Invisalign. I am loving how confident I feel when I smile around people. We are fine tuning now and I am honestly excited take off my mask. Thank you!!

Dr. Prathiba is the really awesome. She is passionate about her work and compassionate to those who are apprehensive about going to the dentist. My children's also loved her treatment and they say she is the best dentist they have been to. Also, I like the fact that she is not in a rush. Always makes time to answer any questions. She is a great addition to west Cary.

I suggest everyone to avoid going here. Dr. Pratibha is very rude and unproffessional. I can give infinity zero stars to this dentistry. She is so cruel, always yells, do personal comments and tell bad things to people and convert like, it was a joke without any sense that how bad someone will feel. she has left me in middle of the root canal teeth filling and build up treatment. After prescribing me sedation tablet which i ate before coming on my appointment. She had put all over my gums some white medicine gel which i cant swallow. And applied anesthesia numbing 4-5 injections inside my mouth. Also, she gave me injection in my tongue because of that i got hurt. After that i asked question i have pain in my tongue are you numbing my tongue also by injection. she got angry and started arguing and telling me i dont want to do it anymore. i can refer you to other doctor and started talking about money and personal nonsense talk which she supposed to not. Also ran away from the treatment room. And this kind of desi mentality will not support her. I am in extreme pain in my mouth, tongue, gums, swollen cheek, redness and got numb all over due to her refusal of treatment. Very cruel behavior never thought anyone can do this. unimaginable. She don't have any patience. she is always telling me she will give me only limited time after just 10-25 mins even though dentistry booked my appointment and front staff called me so many times for reminder. How can this clinic leave treatment in middle after giving anesthesia and numb injections? And leave someone with so much pain for no reason. Show some humanity to people. Every patient is equally important and do not choose and treat them as per your comfortability. Such a nonsense, cheap, rude, worst dentistry in this whole north carolina. Please do not waste your money, health and time all. Will not recommend this to my enemies also.

Really loved my all my visits at Cary Dental Arts. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Dr. Prathi is one of the best dentist around and guides you the right treatment. The staff is really good in adjusting the times for new patients and not making you wait for weeks. Dr Prathi is knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. Highly recommend going to this place for your dental work.

Five Stars are not enough for Dr. Prathi and team at Cary Dental Arts. I was in pain and needing immediate treatment a couple weeks ago; Dr. Prathi came in on a day the office was closed & took care of my issue. A wonderful dentist who cares for her patient's wellbeing above all else. Took time to explain the treatment plan and answer any questions I had. 10 stars!

Finally a dental practice that treats you as a person and not just as dental patients. Our family recently switched to this practice after trying out several dental practices close to our area. So glad to have found this one. Scheduling was easy, staff is excellent and service was impeccable. They explained options for Invisalign, never once pushing for it, explaining pros and cons. Their equipment is state of the art and the office staff is patient with all your queries. If you are tired of the big corporate dental practices and looking for a personalized experience, I highly recommend this one!!

I can't say enough great things about Dr Prathi and the entire team at Cary Dental Arts. I had excruciating pain on a molar that had a crown done by my previous dentist - turns out I had to get a root canal. I had seen 2 dentists prior to Dr Prathi and they all had referred me to endodontics, who couldn't get me in until a month later. Dr Prathi and her team not only saw me same day, they were so accommodating to get me in the next morning for a root canal to relieve my pain. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr Prathi explained everything that was going on and always checked in with me to ensure I had no pain. Amazing work. Thank you!!!!

I had the best experience at Cary Dental Arts getting Invisalign. Dr.Prathi and the rest of the staff treat you like family. They care immensely about their patients and always make sure you are comfortable. All the services are quick and painless.They're flexible and answer all your questions. I was always at ease and can't think of a better place to get Invisalign!

Dr. Mudalspuram did me a great service today by providing emergency dental work after I had fallen and dislodged a front tooth. Even though I am not a regular patient of hers.
