Don't use Carus Orthodontics if you value your time. The experience over the last two years has been frequently unprofessional. There is poor communication from both administrative staff and orthodontic staff, specifically at San Marcos. Carus has cancelled numerous appointments, sometimes with no notification. When you try to reschedule, they are booked and can't get you in for weeks. The orthodontic staff does not explain what they are doing and seems to forget what they have done. My child had numerous issues with the work they did. Sometimes a bracket came off as soon as an hour after we left the office. I wish we had chosen another practice.

Wonderful team of professionals. The staff did their do diligence and worked with our insurance before we arrived so we would know exactly what our out of pocket would be. They got us a Saturday appointment so I did not have to miss work. My son is special needs and the doctors worked well with him. I was allowed to sit and help comfort my son while he went through his procedure. They were able to get the teeth extracted and we're patient with my son's quirky behavior. Many of the doctors are military and very professional. I twill bring my others kids here too.
