Kim, the hygienist and Dr. Henderson were very thorough cleaning my teeth and determining the condition of my mouth. The office staff was very accommodating when scheduling additional dental work I needed. I recommend Carus Dental Salado very highly.

Best experience in a long time. That is saying something because I haven't had a bad experience in all the years I have been going to Salado CARES dental office. Staff are wonderful.

Went to this dentist after Carus Temple kept cancelling my appointments. He recommended a more expensive cleaning than the normal 6mo cleaning and I said I appreciated his diagnosis and recommendation, but since I'm spending a lot on dentistry already I'd prefer to have the basic cleaning as well as take care of everything else. He told me that if I didn't go with the expensive cleaning he recommended then he wouldn't treat me at all. Called another dentist and they got me right in and respected my rights as a patient to be involved in decisions regarding my care. (He and his staff still seem like awesome people as he was still really polite, if not a bit patronizing.)

Front office/ billing is a nightmare. I am receiving bills from this place after my insurance paid for visits under Salado Smiles. Would never step foot in this practice and can't believe Lufburrow handed over his customers info to this joke of a practice. Trust others' reviews and AVOID THIS OFFICE!!

Dentist treated me for an infection a few months ago we both agreed would likely reoccur, I had instructions to follow up in the event there was another infection. The infection reoccurred and I called dentist office with complaint of pain and swelling and asked for earliest appt and if I could get the dentist to call in a prescription for antibiotics (Amox)which he had previously prescribed...and the lady at the front desk told me I had to wait until next appt (the following day). No other options...no message to dentist, no relief whatsoever. Terrible experience.

I loved the technician. Have had pure hell will billing . They failed to record my debit card payment and will not get the matter straightened out. Will not use anymore!

I've been here a few times in the past year in a half and the overall experience was great. The office was super clean, the wait was very minimal if you confirm your appointment, and the staff is very welcoming and customer focused! Will always go back to the Salado office for future appointments. Thanks for all yall do!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of this location. Each and every person I spoke to on the phone and in person was courteous, caring, and informative. The technicians and the Dentist seemed very knowledge and caring. At felt like at the time of my visit that I was provided information when it was available. I would recommend this location to friends and family.

Please notice how the reviews that are 5 stars are when this practice was not owned by Carus Dental. Here's a snapshot of my visit: Mis-diagnosed, Services pre-paid for not performed due to mis-diagnosis, tried to upsell into unnecessary and not needed treatments. Then billed for the visit although already pre-paid! I have filed a BBB complaint and will continue to let everyone know through Salado Friends Facebook group, SISD, and further to let everyone know to run from this dental practice.

Super rude front staff. Leaving a dentist that we have gone to for years. Not due to the dentist, but his staff. Really sad. Won't return, won't recommend.
