I've always been warmly greeted by Michelle upon entering the very clean and professional office. She's been a great help in properly managing my dental benefits. All the staff has a great mix of professionalism and warm, personal care. Dr Yokoyama takes time to explain what is going on with your dental care and possesses great skill in his profession.
Dr. Carter S. Yokoyama grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii where he graduated from Punahou School in 1984. He completed both his undergraduate studies and dental school at the University of Washington, in Seattle. He graduated from the UW School of Dentistry in 1992 and is licensed to practice in both Hawaii and Washington. Dr. Yokoyama is an active member of theAmerican Academy of Cosmetic DentistryandAmerican Dental Association.

My first visit. Pleasant staff and unbelievably thorough exam. Very pleased with my experience. Update: Went back today for a problem tooth. Dr Yokoyama took care of it right away and did it himself. Great care and attention to patient needs.

I have been experiencing Dr.Yokoyama's dental work for 20 years. He is very detailed in everything he does. Consistently going to educational courses, & educating his staff as well. They all share their excitement to learn new procedures and more. He and his employees are very particular with their jobs. My whole family love & appreciate the Ohana vibe

Big, big, BIG MAHALOS to everyone at Dr. Yokoyama's office!! After 40 years of avoiding dental appointments... my dad, 82 years old, just LOVES his new smile!! Over the last few months, he has been in for a series of extractions and getting fitted for dentures. From our very first appointment, Heather was extremely helpful about explaining all of the different procedures, timelines and costs.... and my dad just loves talking story, with EVERYONE down there. I never would have imagined going to the dentist could be such a nice experience for him. We are both sincerely grateful for everyone's professionalism... and more than anything... everyone there, just being SO NICE!! I recommend this office, 100%. Aloha!!

I feel fortunate to be a patient in Dr Yokoyama's practice. His beautiful office is equipped with the very latest that dental technologies offer. Equally important, Dr Yokoyama is a skillful caring dentist who has assembled a professional and personable staff from front office personnel to assistants and hygienists. Whenever I have an appointment I know that I will be seen promptly and be cared for by a competent dental team. As a retired dentist, I have high expectations when considering my dental care. I know how challenging and expensive it is to set and maintain high standards. I say with confidence and from experience that Dr Yokoyama's practice is comparable to the best practices available on the mainland.
