Dr. Stingley received laudatory recognition and the Army Commendation Medal for dedicated congressional survey and advanced dental treatment to the soldiers of the United States Army at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Her avocation is reading. Dr. Stingley enjoys outdoor activities, such as tennis, gardening, and horseback riding. She plays a proactive role in the efforts to build a solid foundation for the continued growth and prosperity of Gwinnett County. She served as chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Four Corners Primary Care Centers, Inc., which was established November 2007 under her leadership. Dr. Stingley served as a 2008 Board of Director and Chairman Club member of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. She has served as chairperson of community projects and secretary of the Peachtree Corners Rotary Club.
