Carter & Davidson Dentistry is located in beautiful Northwest Arkansas. Whether you are coming for your regular dental check-up, needing a filling, or are requiring crown and bridgework, the staff at Carter & Davidson Dentistry is trained and ready to make you as comfortable as possible for your stay.
Dr. Carter and Dr. Davidson have over 50 years of combined experience working as dentists in Fayetteville and specialize in working with challenging cases where they can truly make a difference. Whether it is preventative, restorative, or cosmetic dentistry, they use the latest technology and newest dental techniques to make your visit more convenient and comfortable.
Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry at Memphis in 1981 and moved to Fayetteville shortly after graduation where he began his practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Academy of Interdisciplinary Study Club, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Carter is married to Babs. Together they have three grown children. Brian is married to Amanda, Erin is married to Nick, and Megan is married to Chad. Dr. Carter and Babs also have three grandsons, Drew, Carter, and Nicholas, and three granddaughters, Paige, Ella, and Kate. In his spare time, Dr. Carter enjoys visiting his children, working in the yard, hunting, and fishing. He has two hunting dogs, Ty and Sonny.
Dr. Davidson joined the practice of Carter Family Dentistry in August of 2015. He's originally from Jonesboro, Ark. where he grew up for the first 18 years of his life. Upon graduating high school, he attended the University of Arkansas where he fell in love with Northwest Arkansas.
His pursuit to become a dentist took him to the University of Tennessee at Memphis for four years to receive his doctorate in dental surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and Academy of Interdisciplinary Therapy Study Club.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Davidson proposed to his wife, Kristen, while serving in Southeast Asia. Together, with their chocolate lab (Moose), they packed up and moved to Fayetteville to start their lives together.

No one enjoys going to the dentist, but I can truthfully day that this was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist office. Everyone was so friendly - I had no idea that a trip to the dentist could be so pleasant!

Dr. Carter and his staff have provided exceptional care to my whole family for years. They have been by far the best dentist that I have experienced in NW Arkansas. Dr. Carter has completed a dental implant crown on my husband, restorative work on both children after orthodontics and I could not be happier with the results. They always treat us like family!

Dr. Davidson and his assistants helped me when I hadn't been to the dentist in an embarrassing long time. I had become afraid to go to a dentist, considering. This office was so incredible that I now look forward to my appointments. They are wonderful, attentive, and so kind. Everyone there is like that. They're just just overall amazing. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Great experience here! I got my teeth cleaned and some xrays taken. Pamela, my hygienist, did a fantastic job. Doctor Carter is also very nice an personable. I definitely recommend going here.
