Our goal at Dr. Philip C. Carsons dental practice is to provide you with a caring dental home with a warm, friendly, and, (dare we say it?) fun environment. Our office is conveniently located at 4600 Brainerd Road, between Moore Road and Germantown Road in Chattanooga. When you make a visit to see us, we want to make you feel at ease from the moment you walk through our door. The first dentist to achieve the MAGD Designation in the Chattanooga Area, Dr. Carson is committed to keeping abreast of current developments and techniques in dentistry. He is able to perform a wide range of dental services, from the simple to the extremely complex. We offer you excellence in all aspects of General Dentistry. From preventive care such as cleanings and checkups, to cosmetic services such as teeth whitening and veneers, all the way to complex procedures such as periodontal treatment, we strive to keep your teeth and oral structures healthy and problem-free.
Dr. Philip C. Carson graduated with honors with a BA from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1978 and went on to get his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis 1984. That same year, he joined his father, Dr. Charles A. Carson, in the practice of general dentistry, and continued to work with him for five years. Before his death from pancreatic cancer, Dr. Charles A Carson impressed upon his son the importance of keeping current with dental technology. As a result, our dentist participates in continued education to stay at the forefront of dental advances. Dr. Carson has completed more than 2500 hours in continuing education since graduating from dental school, including:
Dr. Carson is married to Susan Carson and is the father of two grown sons, Will and Jay. In his spare time, he can be found playing tennis or golf, riding motorcycles, snow skiing, or lounging with his rescue dog, Patches.

Rhonda is the best dental hygienist! She goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable with an extra pillow under my neck to help alleviate pain due to chronic neck problems. Wonderful Office staff, friendly and professional. My teeth look so sparkly after my professional cleaning!!

I've been going to Dr. Carson for my dental care for ten years. So far I've never had an unpleasant experience. Rhonda cleans my teeth thoroughly but gently, the office staff is friendly and competent, and Dr. Carson allows me to help him make big decisions about procedures. They're the best !
