Dr. John Vu chose to practice dentistry because he believes that oral health is a vital component of overall health. He wants to help improve peoples overall quality of life. His mission is to provide dental services in an environment that is safe, reassuringly pleasant, and comfortable. He treats every patient as well as he would like to be treated. Dr. John Vu has been practicing for 14 yrs. He received his Bachelor of Science from California State University Northridge and then decided to pursue the field of Dentistry and received DDS degree from New York University. He is a member of the ADA and continuously seeks out training that allow him to remain aware and knowledgeable.
I was first introduced to dentistry when I would go in for my check-ups as a kid. At a young age, I was fascinated by everything the team and the dentist were doing! I always remember the dentist having a lot of tools and I was always asking so many questions about them! As I began to get older, I realized that I had a passion for teeth and providing healthy dental tips. Now, that I am with Carson Kids Dental, I am able to do what I love.
I am great with kids! Especially now, having two of my own. Kids feel safe with me, while I take their x-rays or clean their teeth and I love that about my job! I love being able to make a difference in a kids life.

They were AWESOME!!!! We did have to reschedule like 3 times, but, I don't care. My kids were terrified, being it was their first dentist appointment. They had seen an episode of Arthur, which scared them. But, once the xray tech called us back and spoke with the girls, then the decor, the care and affability of the assistants, the awesome way the dentist told them exactly what was being done, the choices they got, and the way they all stopped the moment one of the girls looked to be in distress, to reassure them, and answering all their questions, the girls were so happy, they didn't want to leave. They both cried in relief afterwards, about how their fears weren't real and in happiness. I LOVE THIS OFFICE AND ALL THE PEOPLE THERE IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM 100 STARS

My kiddos have been going here for years after going to several pediatric dentists and multiple disappoints i can say i would never take my kids any where but carson kids every appt is a great experience.

Carson Kids Dental is the best!! I drove from Fernley and it was worth the drive!! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly. I couldn't have had a better time at the dentist. Thanks guys for taking care of my little guy!

Everyone in this office is friendly and professional. My son was nervous going in, now he's excited for his next appointment. I wish my own dentist was half as nice! Office is clean and comfortable, everyone was soothing and upbeat. I can't recommend them enough.

Absolutely love this place! Compared to other places, this place makes you feel welcome and genuinely seen and heard. So very kind, thoughtful and I love the respect they have for me as the parent and my son. I'll recommend this place to anyone!

Isaiah needs to stop hanging up on people while they are in the middle of a sentence. The girls are great and friendly, but Isaiah makes you feel unwelcome. Even with the lack of tone in his voice.

My son loves the dentist! And they are super cool here! They play around and joke with him. And they do an amazing job. Always work with me on times for the appointments and we mostly do after school.

Dr. Todd and staff are awesome. Hands down! We actually switched from another pediatric dentist because they were requiring that my little one be knocked out and I wasn't okay with that. Dr. Todd had many different options available and was much more reasonable pricing! Dr. Todd and staff were very pleasant and explained everything to me. I would highly recommend this practice! They are really kids friendly..they have balloons, lollipops, stickers, toys, etc.

I have four children. It can be trying to get all of their dental and medical appointments in order, even more so to schedule treatment. The moment I walked in the doors of carson kids dental I was met with support and sincerity. They helped me straighten out the glitches with their insurance, they saw all of my kids within the week and started treatment (I was late and not treated badly). This is the most professional, supportive, kind, understanding and all around decent place of business I have ever been to in the medical field. Thank you so much carson kids dental for making a small part of my life mean so much! You have no idea how wonderful it is to be treated with respect and kindness when everything else is so hectic! Good for you!

Dr. Todd is absolutely the best dentist I have ever taken my kids too or gone too myself. Every staff member I have ever dealt with is kind helpful and amazing as well. Yesterday I took all three of my kids for a cleaning and x-rays and was in and out in less than an hour. Every time we drive by my 4-year old asks to go see his dentist.

I come to this dental office all the way from Fallon and I love it!! All the staff members are extremely nice and friendly. I've never had one bad experience since I've been going. My sister, Maria, works there so I always feel welcome.
