Dr. West believes the most important function of the dental office is the patient experience. He and the staff strive to be thorough and to treat the patient completely as a whole. There are many choices when deciding on any caregiver. The most important task is finding someone who listens and understands the patient and their needs. Dr. West believes this is only achieved through educating his patients and helping them to overcome their fears.
One of the ways Dr. West gives back is as a proud member of theAdopt A Vet Programhelping Vets in need. Dr. West donates full treatment as needed to help our Vets begin the healing process from the inside out.
The goal of our program is to help low-income veterans who simply cannot afford to see a dentist. Because they lack dental treatment, many face poor overall health, self-esteem issues, or cannot secure work. Most of these veterans do not have a family or support system, which forces them to rely on help from their community.

My mother had forgotten her partial at this office on a day when she was scheduled to take a flight the next morning. Dr. Wests team stopped everything they were doing on their off time to come and show up back at their office at 10 pm to give my mother her partial hours before her 2 week trip. They went above and beyond our expectations. It's hard to find such commitment to service and to its patients these days but Carson Dental Designs does so still with excellence!

Unfortunately, we trusted Dr West to do my wife's wisdom teeth extractions. The entire time he was working, he was wearing headphones on a conference call... When the work was done, he prescribed her some mouthwash and failed to go over after care instructions, and we also had to call the office several times for them to place the order to the pharmacy. In the post surgery check up, with the technician, my wife brought up concerns of inflammation and something "not feeling right". After being convinced to go get Dr West, He said "it will be just fine" after he took a very quick look in her mouth. She insisted that something wasn't right, and he prescribed her some antibiotics and told her to only take them "if she needs them" We got a second opinion, and turns out Dr West's patient negligence left a part of the tooth and bone behind causing my wife to go through another surgery, costing us several hundreds of dollars, and another recovery period.

I've worked in the dental industry and I have very high standards. Dr. West and his team are wonderful. Dr. West is very personable and easy going...and most importantly, he takes the time to explain the how and why of procedures. My hygienist, Jena, is fantastic and provides thorough care without being judgemental. I highly recommend this place, especially to those who have anxieties about the dentist.

I love this place! All staff is helpful, friendly and make the vist the best it can be. I have never been pushed into a treatment I didn't want or think I didn't really need. Prices are fair, and they will work with you on how to pay for treatment. I am moving out of state soon and regret I will have to leave this office and try to find a similar dentist office in my new location.

Jen, our Dental Hygienist, has always treated my family in an a efficient, professional and caring manner- especially with our special needs son Chuck. Dr. West and staff are the best. Love that they listen to my concerns and implement a plan that works best for me. Love their fun sense of humor and comfortable atmosphere. Love that they have their own machine to make crowns in house and it takes minutes and I don't have to come back a week later. I give Carson Dental Designs two thumbs up!

Dr. West always goes above and beyond as far as making myself as well as my entire family feel comfortable. His staff is absolutely fantastic, and all make you feel like you are at home. Also, Dr. West has helped me get over my tremendous fear of going to the dentist! He makes sure that I understand everything that's going on, and has NEVER charged me hidden fees! I recommend them to everyone I can! I couldn't imagine having a better Dental team! Thank you guys!

I called to get an estimate for an exam and x-rays due to having a broken upper molar. The staff was not only VERY compassionate and understanding with my situation but speedily answered my questions and booked me an appointment for next day even with our Corona pandemic going on. Uppon arriving for my appointment, the staff did an excellent job checking me in with cautious measures and clear instructions. Once brought back to my room, I was given a TV remote to relax and wait, my nurse came and took my x-rays, and the doctor was in immediately. Not only were they understanding of my financial position but they were VERY KIND about my severe dental anxiety. I was shaking and in tears from start to end but everyone was so patient and reassuring to me, and I'm 21 friggin years old!! My tooth was extracted quickly and I could NOT be any more grateful and happy with this dentist!
