Dr. Dennis B. Winthrop, DMD, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine-St. Louis. After graduation from Washington University, he spent two years and four months on Active Duty with the United States Air Force as a dentist. He spent an additional thirteen years as a member of the United States Air Force Reserves.
Dr. Winthrop is happily married, a loving father, and proud grandfather to three grandchildren. Outside of the office, he enjoys watching and following the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also an avid reader, particularly books about baseball and World War II. When he is not reading or following the Cardinals, Dr. Winthrop can be found spending time with family and friends.
Additionally, Dr. Winthrop has been a member of the Economic Development Commission in Maryland Heights, Missouri for over 25 years. He attends all of the Maryland Heights City Council meetings, as well as many of the Planning Commission meetings

July 2021 had a crown placed over a broken tooth that was ground down by Dr. Winthrop.. Went back for a correction and he could never get it right. Crown never fit and it moved and I was told that due to my age it would move like other teeth!!!!! Went back 2 or 3 times to get it checked or fixed .last visit January 2022 for a chance for him to fix and still was not right .. Now there is infection under it and now going elsewhere to have a root canal done and get it fixed .. I will not go back.. Staff was great but .....

Dr Klein and Heather made this visit nice. Heather made me feel way less anxious and nervous and realle appreciate that. Dr. Klein was great was thourough and quick. I truly appreciate Tony fitting me in with such short notice! Thank you Carrollwood Dental team!!

The hygienist was friendly and did a great job. Dr.Klein was professional, personable and gave me a couple options in treatments. I had been to a franchise type dental office recently and the difference between my experience there and at Carrollwood was night and day. I would highly recommend Carrollwood and Dr. Klein.

I had a wonderful experience with this check-up. I highly recommend Alma, for your Dental Hygienist. Alma, is very professional, but welcoming and not "judgy". she is thorough, but gentle, and very pleasant. Best teeth cleaning I have had there since my previous hygienist retired 10 years ago!

Very nice staff, they explain things thoroughly, seem to be conservative in treatment - don't tell you you need things you don't, and they do good work. They aren't great at getting back to you if you've used their online contact form and can't get them on the phone, though, my husband and son didn't receive a return call that way when trying to schedule and appointment - so, that could be improved. Overall, I'm happy there
