The doctors and their dental assistants are very good. The only major issue with this office is that they overbook to an extent that a 60-90 minute wait is average. I have had to leave after 90 minutes of waiting three times, knowing that I'm probably going to have to wait that long again next time. They should be more respectful of people's time - we all work for a living and have families. The front office staff is sometimes more difficult than they should be. It's good dental care with room for administrative improvement.

The doctors and their dental assistants are very good. The only major issue with this office is that they overbook so much that a 60-90 minute wait is average. I have had to leave after 90 minutes of waiting three times, knowing that I'm probably going to have to wait that long again next time. They should be more respectful of people's time. Right now, I cannot even get in to see the doctor for a required follow-up because each time I go, the wait is so long that I have to leave to do other things. Who has time to sit in a dentist office for 2-3 hours? I developed dry socket, and had no medicine to fix it. I had to visit the dentist repeatedly to get pain killers until 10 days later when the overwhelming pain finally subsided. The front office staff just doesn't seem to care much about patients.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here a few years back and had no issue (maybe because I was put to sleep and don't remember).. I was referred by my dentist to have a tooth extracted and thought I would go again since I had no previous issue. I show up for my appointment to find out the staff didn't know I was in need of a tooth extraction but had me down for a consultation only but not until after speaking to the doctor and him trying to leave saying he didn't know I needed the tooth taken out. This led to mass confusion from the staff and they claimed I needed to bring my referral paper to the appointment with me so that they would know which tooth I need to be pulled, rather than speaking to my dentist prior to my appointment. Luckily I had it in my car and there were able to extract my tooth same appointment. One staff member was very friendly but the woman assisting in the extraction with the doctor was unpleasant. She spoke incredibly fast about the details of the procedure as if she had to give a speech rather than explain important details to me. The doctor also places the equipment/tools for the extraction on my chest (very uncomfortable) rather than on a nearby table. I found this very odd. After the tooth was removed and the doctor left the staff member assisting raises my chair, takes off my bib (in complete silence) hands me important paperwork (with no explanation on what she is giving me) and says "you are free to leave" while her back is turned to me and she is cleaning up. You would think they would be friendlier as you are in pain and may have questions. I quietly got my things and left. Will not be returning.

I had a tooth extracted today and for the first time in my 36 years, I felt safe and relaxed and confident in a dentist. I have had some traumatic experiences at the dentist in the past. However, Dr Davis made sure I understood what my options were and how we could keep me calm. He was quick and gentle with the numbing process. His team spoke very calming and sympathetic to me. He even called to check on me tonight to see how i was doing. Dr. Davis took away a little bit of my fear of going to the dentist today. Thank you and your team. It means a lot.

The most unprofessional, uncaring and down right rude dental/medical staff that I've ever encountered. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and after surgery was wheeled out groggy and crying. I was handed a pamphlet and a syringe very quickly. No after care instructions except to use medication in syringe if she developed dry socket. Three prescriptions for pain medication and nausea. After we got home, no follow up call, which our dentist normally does after a simple filling. On day 4 the pain was so intense pain medication would not help so we called for a follow up. My daughter went to office in very obvious pain and was met with an aggressive office staff. The staff began to question her use of antibiotics and mouth wash of which we did not receive. The Preop appointment was in May and no call, no instructions, nothing but a text message 5 days before to confirm. I actually called office day before to check instructions and got no call back. Once my daughter was in room with Dr. Atwell she was in very intense pain and as he was examining she was hysterical and asked him to stop. She pushed his hand away to get him to stop and then he went to other side at that point she stood up and he screamed at her that if she would not let him examine her she needed to leave his office. She then left examine room and left hurriedly to her car. She was so upset and in so much pain that she was unable to drive. When I called back into office there was no office manager or dentist that would get on phone with me. After a few mins a lady named Misty Boone called me back. Was rude, condescending and said Dr was old and blunt and started to laugh when I told her that dentist had hurt my daughter. Do not take your children or elderly patients to this practice.

Great people, professional service, I took my son in for removing all wisdom teeth . A week later I had three wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Davis did a great job! I liked how quick the process was and recovery was less than a day for me.

My experience with this team was amazing. I was in extreme pain with a infected and broken off tooth. The lady's up front were very nice and helpfull. they worked me in the same day, and helped me with everything. the docter (josh) was excellent. answered all my questions and did a amazing job. I highly recommend going here .

Dont look for good service here.. This office in Carrollton has very little to no consideration for your time. I was called the morning of the appointment and given the option to come when it suited their schedule with no consideration on their part that I scheduled my workday around the time we agreed upon a week before. The lady I spoke to told me I could come at 2 but she assured me I wouldn't be seen at 3 because of scheduling problems and the fact the doctor lives in Alabama, even though the posted hours for the office are until 5.

I had a great experience with Dr. Davis and staff. I had no pain during the procedure and they kept me informed of everything they did. They were fast and professional.

Very courteous staff and great nurse & on her birthday too. Happy Birthday again to you ! Dr. Atwell was great as always. It had been many years since he pulled my last tooth but he still sings away as always ! Lol. Thanks again for making my visit the best !

I highly recommend going to see Dr. Atwell! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed this morning. Dr. Atwell made sure to ease my anxiety & all my concerns. I have absolutely no pain so fair. The entire staff is very nice & will answer any questions you have. Dr. Atwell even personally reached out to make sure I was doing okay. I will definitely return if I ever need any other dental work done!

Wow! Dr Atwell and his staff are great. My regular dentist referred me to him. I had an uncommon issue and went for an extract. The front office told me exact amount ahead of time. Assistant was knowledgeable and compassionate preparing me for the procedure. Dr Atwell was clear and informative and an amazing doctor. He even unexpectedly called me that night to make sure I was ok. I truly cannot imagine a better experience.

Dr. Atwell and his team was just absolutely amazing! i just got two teeth extracted this morning by cutting them out and he could see i was very anxious because if my past experiences with dentists offices. he clarified that i would be just fine and they kept talking to me about things i love doing to keep my mind off the pain and the operation . within 5 minutes of me being in the back getting prepped for surgery i was completely fine and went under in a snap. Dr. Atwell kept singing " everything's gonna be alright " and made sure i was comfortable and okay to go under! It was a wonderful experience , they are a bit pricey but i would never want to go to another oral surgeon ! definitely recommend and i know i am definitely going back get the rest is my wisdom teeth out later down the road!

Doctor Atwell has terrible bedside manner. More interested in lecturing than doing his job. Immediately dismissive of my financial concerns when I asked what he wanted to do and how much it would cost.

I want to make it clear right off the bat that I'm not rating to complain about the pre-op service. But I do want to say there could be room for one major improvement. That improvement would be when you are sent to the parking lot to wait for your child, you have a 30 minute window in which to be productive. I was given five prescriptions that had to be filled in order for this procedure to be successful. They do not call them into your pharmacy for you. ??But I was told I was not allowed to go anywhere in that 30 minute window that I had to wait. I was all by myself when I took my daughter home. I had nobody to watch her and I had not one single prescription filled. What do you do? Well you leave you're sleeping child home alone which is dangerous enough and you go off and try to get your prescription filled and under a two hour timeframe. No one fills prescriptions immediately! it always takes at least an hour for your prescriptions to be filled at any pharmacy especially when there are five of them!. Not helpful at all not at all. A nurse did give us a follow up call later that evening which was nice but made sure to tell me that if I had any more questions or worried about anything that could've potentially gone wrong to give her a call that I had her number. I called her the next morning , I thought was her name was Becky, it was not, she hung up on me. I had to text that number back to ask her if she worked for this office and she did she proceeded to tell me that if I have any calls that I I better do it now because she was about to go river rafting. I get it it's Saturday but I'm sorry I had questions. I think what made me the maddest is that she hung up on me because I called her the wrong name. she should put temporary names and numbers in her phone if she's in charge of taking care of follow up on certain patients. Then all you have to do is delete them. I probably should wait a little bit longer before posting this because it's still too fresh! it's only been two days but I'm not going to, I'm pushing send now
