Dr. Aaron Carroll grew up in Tallahassee,where he graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in biological sciences. After working in the computer field for the Florida State Supreme Court for several years, he decided to switchcareers and become a dentist. Dr. Carroll received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida, and graduatedmagna cum laude.He completed his postdoctoral masters degree and orthodontic training at the University of Florida as well.
Dr. Carroll is an active member of the local dental societies and is past president of the Charlotte County Dental Society. He frequently attends continuing education courses in order to remain up to date on the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry. He also regularly presents seminars on modern orthodontic techniques to local dentists and their staff.
As a dental student and orthodontic resident, Dr. Carroll received numerous honors, including awards for outstanding achievementin dentistry, orthodontic clinical achievement, advanced education honors program in orthodontics, and research excellence in orthodontics, as well asacceptance into the Pierre Fauchard International Dental Honors Society.
Soon after meeting during their residency at the University of Florida, Drs. Carroll and Sutton became great friends. Once they decided to practice orthodontics together, they realized Sarasota County would be the ideal place to practice and raise their families.
Dr. Carroll is a pilot and diver whoenjoysfishing and spearfishing in his free time. He and his wifeTiffanyenjoy spending time on the boat and attending sporting events with theirchildren Brody, Teagan, and Jagger.
Dr. Michael Sutton is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pennsylvania State Universitywith a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. He worked for three years in the engineering field before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Sutton received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromTemple Universityin Philadelphia.During this time, hewas granted acceptance into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and earned several prestigious academic awards. After suffering from too many cold winters, he decided to further his career and head south to the University of Florida orthodontic program. He earned an orthodontic certificate and masters degree in dental science from UF.
As a father, Dr. Sutton understands how to communicate with patients of all ages and help them feel at ease.He is highly respected within the community, not only for creating beautiful smiles, but also for his generosity and support of local organizations.
In his spare time, Dr. Sutton enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling with his wife Anna and daughter Brielle. He is happy to call Sarasota County home and looks forward to meeting you and your family soon!

I was visiting my family from out of town and had an issue with my permanent wire retainer while visiting. The wire was cutting into my cheek and tongue, so I called around town to see who could help me in this emergency situation and this was the only orthodontist willing to take a patient they had never seen before! The friendly orthodontist assistant fixed my wire quickly and perfectly! Not only was the service fast and effective, but the staff was willing to work with me and they did an excellent job. Also, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to fix my permanent retainer which is awesome. This place is a lifesaver!

Dr.Sutton is an excellent orthodontist! This was my first visit.. He knew exactly what I needed and I was very happy with my visit to his office. Very professional staff like Robin & Georgia and very sweet and attentive. Love this office!!

Lissette was amazing! She explained every detail and was very helpful; she researched oral surgeons who were in network with our insurance and assisted in scheduling that appointment as soon as possible. We felt very comfortable with the professional and friendly treatment from everyone at the office.

Dr. Sutton and his assistant Lissette are absolutely wonderful. My son will be having jaw surgery in just over a year and needed to have perfect timing for the application of his braces. We have made several visits to check on the timing of my son's growth to assure the correct scheduling of the braces in concordance with the surgery. If you are looking for an orthodontic setting that is pleasant, professional, reasonable, patient, clean and completely thoughtful, consider Dr. Sutton for your orthodontic needs. I'm so glad I did!
