Dr. Aaron Carroll grew up in Tallahassee,where he graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in biological sciences. After working in the computer field for the Florida State Supreme Court for several years, he decided to switchcareers and become a dentist. Dr. Carroll received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida, and graduatedmagna cum laude.He completed his postdoctoral masters degree and orthodontic training at the University of Florida as well.
Dr. Carroll is an active member of the local dental societies and is past president of the Charlotte County Dental Society. He frequently attends continuing education courses in order to remain up to date on the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry. He also regularly presents seminars on modern orthodontic techniques to local dentists and their staff.
As a dental student and orthodontic resident, Dr. Carroll received numerous honors, including awards for outstanding achievementin dentistry, orthodontic clinical achievement, advanced education honors program in orthodontics, and research excellence in orthodontics, as well asacceptance into the Pierre Fauchard International Dental Honors Society.
Soon after meeting during their residency at the University of Florida, Drs. Carroll and Sutton became great friends. Once they decided to practice orthodontics together, they realized Sarasota County would be the ideal place to practice and raise their families.
Dr. Carroll is a pilot and diver whoenjoysfishing and spearfishing in his free time. He and his wifeTiffanyenjoy spending time on the boat and attending sporting events with theirchildren Brody, Teagan, and Jagger.
Dr. Michael Sutton is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pennsylvania State Universitywith a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. He worked for three years in the engineering field before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Sutton received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromTemple Universityin Philadelphia.During this time, hewas granted acceptance into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and earned several prestigious academic awards. After suffering from too many cold winters, he decided to further his career and head south to the University of Florida orthodontic program. He earned an orthodontic certificate and masters degree in dental science from UF.
As a father, Dr. Sutton understands how to communicate with patients of all ages and help them feel at ease.He is highly respected within the community, not only for creating beautiful smiles, but also for his generosity and support of local organizations.
In his spare time, Dr. Sutton enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling with his wife Anna and daughter Brielle. He is happy to call Sarasota County home and looks forward to meeting you and your family soon!

A couple years ago I had braces put on with this company and paid out of pocket over $3000 and when I got my braces off I received a retainer and skip forward a couple years my retainer wore down and cracked. I called to get a replacement at which time they told me it would be $350 and I said I would need to think about it. I called back after rethinking about it for a couple weeks and when I called back to schedule an appointment I was told now that it would be $400 and I asked why it changed and they told me that's what it cost and not sure who told me otherwise so I said okay I would still like to proceed with the appointment as I need a new set of retainers. I showed up to my appointment where they took the impression and then told me to come back later to pick them up. Before I left I was told I needed to pay and so I said okay and the lady then tells me it's $450 and I said I was told it was $400 and she said oh well because you haven't been here in over a year it's a $50 appointment fee after I'm already paying $400 out of pocket for a new set of retainers. Very shady and sneaky. It should not cost $400 to help keep your teeth aligned after paying over $3000 for braces. There should be some short of discount for past patients and patients willing to pay cash up front but no there wasn't and then when I tried my retainers on the bottom one felt a little loose and they told me no it's not and I can either take the retainers as is or give them back and I'll get a refund. Very rude and not accommodating at all. So disappointed and disgusted how they treated me because I really enjoyed them when I went through my journey with braces with them.

First time getting braces today , I was a little nervous but Dr. Sutton & Georgia took great care of me! Georgia made me feel at ease & explained the process thoroughly. Staff is friendly as well . Especially Melissa from the North Port & Venice office ! She's as always finding a good date for me to book an appointment. Will be looking forward to the next visit !

I had a great experience with having to get braces for a second time, this time as an adult. I was anxious for the journey, but the staff at Carroll & Sutton made it so easy and well worth it. Dr. Sutton and Jamie were both very easy to talk to and explained everything they were doing. I'm excited to get them off earlier than originally expected! I highly recommend C&S and appreciate their staff!

Top notch care . I got braces as an adult and Dr. Carroll and his team did an amazing job from start to finish . In two years my treatment was finished and I still go back for checkups and they treat you the same even though you are finished . Now both children are getting treatment for their perfect smile . Highly recommend

Fantastic! Went to North Port location for second opinion prior to putting my son in braces & boy am I glad we gave them a look! They use innovative orthodontic techniques & have a nice facility & friendly staff & providers. I wasn't able to be there so they did virtual teleconferencing with me so I could be part of my son's treatment plan. Lissette & Dr. Sutton were very professional & pleasant. They took great care to explain everything & helped prevent us from doing a needless procedure that would have had permanent effects on my child. Thank you, Carroll & Sutton! We are confident we have made the right choice for orthodontic treatment and can't wait to see the amazing transformation you'll do for our son!

Both of my daughters are currently patients at Carrol & Sutton and I highly recommend this office. They are patients of Dr. Carroll and his is amazing! He always takes time to listen to questions and is super friendly with my girls. All of his staff is very pleasant and my daughters are lucky to have Amber most of the time as their hygienist. She always has a smile on her face and they look forward to seeing and talking with her at their visits.

Carroll & Sutton orthodontics is amazing, I get the best care when going in for my appointments they always ask if I have any questions about my braces and make sure I am happy! Destiny at the front desk is amazing ! Always happy outgoing and always has positive energy she is the absolute best!! Dr. Carroll was very kind and knowledgeable in our consultation. Helped my children not feel anxiety in the office. Once my children are ready to start treatment we will be starting with his office!
