Dr. Aaron Carroll grew up in Tallahassee,where he graduated from Florida State University with a bachelors degree in biological sciences. After working in the computer field for the Florida State Supreme Court for several years, he decided to switchcareers and become a dentist. Dr. Carroll received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida, and graduatedmagna cum laude.He completed his postdoctoral masters degree and orthodontic training at the University of Florida as well.
Dr. Carroll is an active member of the local dental societies and is past president of the Charlotte County Dental Society. He frequently attends continuing education courses in order to remain up to date on the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry. He also regularly presents seminars on modern orthodontic techniques to local dentists and their staff.
As a dental student and orthodontic resident, Dr. Carroll received numerous honors, including awards for outstanding achievementin dentistry, orthodontic clinical achievement, advanced education honors program in orthodontics, and research excellence in orthodontics, as well asacceptance into the Pierre Fauchard International Dental Honors Society.
Soon after meeting during their residency at the University of Florida, Drs. Carroll and Sutton became great friends. Once they decided to practice orthodontics together, they realized Sarasota County would be the ideal place to practice and raise their families.
Dr. Carroll is a pilot and diver whoenjoysfishing and spearfishing in his free time. He and his wifeTiffanyenjoy spending time on the boat and attending sporting events with theirchildren Brody, Teagan, and Jagger.
Dr. Michael Sutton is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pennsylvania State Universitywith a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. He worked for three years in the engineering field before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Sutton received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromTemple Universityin Philadelphia.During this time, hewas granted acceptance into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and earned several prestigious academic awards. After suffering from too many cold winters, he decided to further his career and head south to the University of Florida orthodontic program. He earned an orthodontic certificate and masters degree in dental science from UF.
As a father, Dr. Sutton understands how to communicate with patients of all ages and help them feel at ease.He is highly respected within the community, not only for creating beautiful smiles, but also for his generosity and support of local organizations.
In his spare time, Dr. Sutton enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling with his wife Anna and daughter Brielle. He is happy to call Sarasota County home and looks forward to meeting you and your family soon!

I don't know if these people actually know what they do for people. They didn't just fix my granddaughter's teeth, they gave her self esteem, confidence, beauty, as well as an award winning smile. You just can't put a price on that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Carroll & Sutton ortho in Bradenton/Sarasota are amazing, they always go above and beyond for their patients. The people are nice but I wasn't really happy with the results. It was claimed to be my fault that the treatment didn't work out. I wouldn't recommend this orthodontist and will be seeking treatment to fix my two fronts that were not correct after $5000 spent elsewhere. One would think that the ortho would want all customers happy with the smile after a treatment plan, but not this one.

Melissa the coordination manager in the office is the kindest human on earth. All my kids love her to pieces. The whole office staff it's so amazing and kind and not to mention good looking. A fun and safe environment. Their office is also incredibly clean!! Only place I would ever send anyone for braces.

Had to get braces in my 50s and so glad I was recommended to Carroll & Sutton. From my first meeting with Melissa, to all the assistants and Dr. everything has been top notch. They have a strict covid protocol in place, but it is still easy to get in and out. All the office staff that I have talked with is super pleasant, Brittany and Tiffany. They really care about the patient. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
