A native of greater Cincinnati, Dr. Carrier graduated from Miami University with a degree in Zoology. He then attended Indiana University Dental School. Dr. Carrier was then selected into the United States Naval Dental Corps.
Dr. Carrier practiced general dentistry for three years in San Francisco and on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). He was then selected into the graduate training for Prosthodontics at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Dr. Carrier graduated with his specialty degree in 1993 and was then assigned as the staff prosthodontist at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. In 1998 Dr. Carrier returned home to Cincinnati where he assumed the practice of Dr. James D. Lytle.
Dr. Carrier is Cincinnatis only board certified prosthodontist. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the Cincinnati Dental Society. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Carrier has lectured locally and throughout the United States. He is the prosthodontic advisor for the local chapters of the Seattle Dental Study Club and the Spear Dental Study Club. He has been selected by his peers as Outstanding Prosthodontist as presented by Cincinnati Magazine since its inception in 2007.
