I used to love this office to death, but last time I came in they broke my permanent retainer off on accident while flossing, and wouldn't reattach it. The orthodontist they recommended me to was $500, so I'm out the cash because of their mistake.

I'm really happy with the services I've received here but the reason for my review is personal. I missed my appointment because my mom had passed away and I completely forgot to call and cancel. They were so accommodating with rescheduling my appointment. A few days later I received a sympathy card signed by members of the staff. I was so blown away. It was actually SIGNED with peoples personal messages of condolences. This is what community is, it's not just a business transaction, this was special. Thank you for being so kind

I hate the dentist always have! Crippling anxiety and fear as soon as I think about the dentist. But not here! Carrie Muzny's office feels like I'm with family. I talk to different techs and doctors each time feels like we don't miss a beat. Always so kind and welcoming. They make me feel at ease. Sure getting your dental work done still sucks but at least you can go through it peacefully with this team! Thanks for the laughs and keeping my teeth healthy. I'm a changed believer in dental maintenance after coming here for the last 5 years!

I have used this dental practice for a few years. I skipped a couple visits due to Covid. I also had to find different insurance as Dr Muzny refused the one I already had, so that's what I did. My teeth are pretty healthy, considering my age...just worn down from stress of caregiving. But I do like getting them cleaned every year. This last time, I was very upfront with the hygenist...I ONLY wanted my teeth cleaned. She did convince me to get some bite-wing x- Ray's done. She also insisted on using the pokey thing around my gums. She also used a dental cam to get other pics of my teeth. Her conclusion after doing this was I needed a "deep-cleaning" due to the FEW deeper pockets she claimed that I had. I was in a hurry due to needing to get back home to my 98 yo bedridden mom, and the inspection process was too long already. Typically, you go for a teeth cleaning and you are done in 30-45 minutes. A full hour was about up already! The hygenist said that since I was putting off the deep clean, that I had to sign a waiver. Ok, but first clean my teeth. She then informed me that there was not enough time to do so...just maybe polish them. She had 3 PM appt to get to! Wait..what?? Yet she kept pushing me to sign the waiver! I said I would sign if she found someone else to clean my teeth. She left to go see but actually went to get Dr. Muzny, who told me she could not in good conscience clean my teeth normally! What! Why? She said because I needed the deep clean! $800, btw. I left without getting my teeth cleaned! I went home and decided to google " dentalscams. Turns out, converting people over from a normal $100 cleaning to an $800+ cleaning was right there on the list!! I def will be looking for a new, HONEST dentist! UPDATE!! Regarding my visit to Dr. Muzny and not receiving the dental cleaning that I went there for...the hygenist had told me that she literally ran out of time to do my regular cleaning, despite the fact that they were willing AND had time to start the "deep-cleaning" THAT same day, once I agreed to the exorbinant cost of $800!! If I wanted a regular cleaning, there was not enough time! However, Dr. Muzny insisted the reason for NOT doing the cleaning was because I had Periodontal Disease!!! She knew I was going to another dentist who specialized in Implants, and was also was a Periodontist. She said to let him do the cleaning, but she refused to do it because I had this disease! So fast forward to that visit to the other dentist. Not only did I NOT have periodontal disease ( per the Periodontist), I also had him VERIFY that doing deep- cleanings on healthy gums can damage them!! Dr. Muzny's team was willing to chance ruining my gums, just to make extra money!! My gums, per the other expert dentist are healthy, and NOT diseased as Dr. Muzny insisted! AND, to top it all off, Dr. Muzny had the nerve to send a letter to the Periodontist, claiming me as a referral to him...a complete and TOTAL lie, as I have been seeing him for years, PRIOR to ever using her practice. I guess a referral was another money grab?? Again, buyer beware!! ALWAYS get a second opinion!! That second opinion not only opened my eyes but likely saved my healthy gums from possibly being ruined by those only interested in upcharges, not good dental care!

First class service all the way around. Timeliness to honesty and integrity this place has it all. Lisa was amazing and took great care of me the entire time always asking if I was comfortable. Not to often does one say this about a dentist but I can't wait to go back for my next check up.

From check-in to check-out everyone is so kind and considerate. The whole atmosphere of the office gives you confidence in your treatment and puts you at ease. I highly recommend this dental office for the whole family. My hygienist (April) is so thorough and gentle, it's like a spa treatment for my teeth! Dr McDaniel takes plenty of time with me and never makes me feel rushed or pressured into treatment, just gives me her expert advice and hasn't steered me wrong yet. Thank you to everyone for making my visits exceptional!

Just relocated to Houston from Dallas so I was looking for a new dentist. After extensive research (Google ), I decided to give Carrie Muzny a try. I absolutely love the practice (and so does my wife)! The staff is awesome from the front desk staff, the hygienist (mine is Ivan ), and the dentist. I definitely recommend giving this dental practice a try! Update: a few years later and I still love this place!

Fantastic staff and Shelby is the greatest. Dr Hoeks checked me out and said I was in great shape. Up to date technology and professional education is a must for his modern dental practice. This is our choice for a dental home!!
