For more than sixty years, the people of Aberdeen and the surrounding region have confidently counted on a Dr. Carrels for their complete dental care. Dr. John Carrels father -Dr. Donald Carrels- started a dental practice in Aberdeen in 1951, and Dr. John joined his father in 1989 and continued his own practice after his father retired in the year 2000. In 2009 Dr. Mark Bain joined the practice and today Carrels and Bain Family Dental Care continues the tradition of dental professionalism and serving as a patient-oriented dentist.
At Carrels and Bain Family Dental Care it starts with our friendly, comfortable office. Our emphasis on patient care is evident when you first enter our inviting reception area and waiting room, with its comfortable furnishings, warming fireplace and a saltwater fish tank. I was able to get an appointment for repair quickly. I arrived on time, I sat less than 3 minutes. I was called in then prepped for service. The repair was professionally addressed & repair area felt better right away. I was out of there within 45 minutes. I was very pleased with the office planning, customer service, performance to planned schedule and outstanding repair! Thank you all!

These dudes rock! They got me in and took care of the problem. Dr. Pollard was super professional and made sure I wasn't in pain and took his time. I feel like a different person. The office was super comfortable to be In and clean. Thank You. I certainly will be back!

I have some major anxiety when going to the dentist! Whenever I need to have some work done, I let them know I'm super nervous and I don't like going to the dentist (nothing against them). Dr Bain and his dental assistant, Deb, are top notch! They make sure I'm as comfortable as possible and walk me through the process to make it as painless as possible! They also have fantastic personalities which help me feel comfortable! I have gone to them since I moved to Aberdeen and I will keep going to this office! Hands down one of the best dentists and dental assistants ever!!! I also appreciate their empathy and not making me feel stupid for my darn anxiety!!! Well done!!!!

Dr. Carrels and his staff have been the best. They're just the absolute best practice in SD. My whole family have transferred to this practice because of the one word the entire staff embodies... trust. I'm a hard case, so if they can help me, they can help anyone. Don't go to someone else first, go to the best.

Such a great experience! Dr. Bain was so great with my son and made him feel comfortable as he's pretty anxious at the dentist. My kids were also excited about the "kids cove" waiting area and intrigued by the fish tank!

The staff and Dr. Bain are awesome! I lost my crown over the weekend and they were amazing working me into their already busy schedule on Monday morning to get this fixed. They were very pleasant and friendly even though their Monday started out with computer issues. Thank you for providing amazing customer care!
