Dr. Jonathan Wang and Dr. Xuan Tran are both originally from and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are a husband and wife team who both graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang and Dr. Tran worked as associates at several dental offices in Louisiana and North Carolina before deciding to buy Carolina Smiles in January 2011. They now call Greensboro, North Carolina home. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with their four children. They enjoy making lasting relationships with the patients of Carolina Smiles. They both take great pride in getting to know their patients and providing treatment that is right for you. Using state of the art technology, Dr. Wang and Dr. Tran will show you exactly what is wrong instead of just telling you there is something wrong. Dr. Greenwood is originally from Greensboro, NC and received both her bachelors degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating she returned to Greensboro to start her dental career. During her time off she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Dr. Greenwood understands the importance of providing affordable, quality dental dare as compassionately and professionally as possible. Dr. Greenwood enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is very proud to be part of the Carolina Smiles team.

I had a root canal. Had no pain. I love how they put the permanent replacement in during the appointment. No temporary crowns while you wait for the permanent one. The finished bite feels perfect. Very happy.

Every step is thoroughly explained by both hygienist and doctor. The treatment plan helps to know what should be done first and how much to plan for the cost of treatment. No surprises!

Very cold and impersonal. Hygienist was not very thorough she moved very quickly. I had to wait 8 months for an appointment for cleaning. Clerks at exiting desk aren't pleasant at all. I believe they filled the wrong tooth and then I got the same diagnosis again. Chairs are stained and construction again in doors. Not going back.

I have been a patient for 12 years and the staff keeps me coming back. Had a new crown done yesterday. No problems. DR. and tech considerate, both know their stuff and even though Dr. Wang not my doc yesterday, he stopped in to say hello and chat for a minute. THAT means a lot!! They go the extra mile!

Great dentistry practice! The office is upscale and attractive, more than common practices. Dr. Tran and Dr Wang are top knotch! Many times I've encountered just mediocre dentist. These two individuals are way past the average dentist! I wish my words could convey just HOW GOOD THEY TRULY ARE! Just try them and see for yourself! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! I sure wasn't!!!!!!!

Fantastic group of people to work with. If you pay attention you will see how each staff member works as a team in effort to help each other become more of who they are in positive ways. The service is awesome which is a given. I love going to Carolina Smiles because I always leave refreshed knowing there are real people out there in the work force.

First of all I'd like to take the time to say I am very happy with Carolina smiles. The dentist was excellent the hygienist was excellent her helper was excellent. I came over from another dental office. That couldn't even hold a candle to Carolina smiles. Just an excellent place I highly recommend it. Just a very pleasant staff. And hygienist and dentist and everybody else.

I have been coming here for over a year now and have seen both Dr. Tran and Dr. Wang. Dr. Tran had seen my children and made them feel comfortable with the dentist again. I got my wisdom tooth taken out yesterday and Dr. Wang is awesome. I was completely nervous and the way he talked to me and calmed me down, answered questions and never left me in the dark about anything he was doing. His bedside manner is spectacular and he treated me with care. My whole family will continue to come to Carolina Smiles. Thank you.

Every time I went they told me my insurance was inactive. Every visit. They had me call insurance every time. And never called me back when I asked them to confirm. Won't be back. Sorry.

Perfect name for their business. You come out smiling every time. Not only is the price good, but there are no other requirements for entering, but your payment. Very kind people, and thorough. Only the best in calming entertainment, not like the harsh music played at other dentist offices. Any child would love to see the koala bears being taken care of by 12 year old girl in Australia on the TV set. I loved it myself. It is located just north of interstate 840 on N Elm Street.
