Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies recommendations.

Dr. Morgan Spicer was born in Bellbrook, OH where she received her Bachelors of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University before attending Indiana University School of Dentistry to receive her Doctor or Dental Surgery(DDS).
Upon graduation, she moved to South Carolina in 2020. She is new to the Columbia community and is excited to meet you! She is dedicated to helping patients make informed decisions in order to achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Spicer is an active member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association.
Outside of Carolina Smiles, Dr. Spicer enjoys spending time with her family at Lake Greenwood, fishing and boating. She spends most of her time with her bloodhound puppy, Pflueger backpacking, running and doing anything outdoors.

Personally one of the worst Dentist I've ever dealt with .. The staffing is lazy inconsiderate and rude .. They miss lead people to get things done that are unnecessary just for the extra profits .. They dont answer the phones in the office it's like they are always at lunch .. If you want things done right and professionally definitely dont go here they will disappoint you .. I would rather all my teeth fall out before I return here ..

I put off my health-care and dental care in college and then put my career first for years. I finally made an appointment at this establishment due to a recommendation. I found everyone courteous and professional. They completed all much needed work and did not ask about times I've been to the dentist which I greatly appreciated because it helped with the anxiety I initially had. I would recommend this establishment.

My advice do not use their services. I wish I never went here nor will I ever go back. Their negligence, lack of responsibility, and lack of professionalism has cost me thousands of dollars. To my dismay, I was a complete victim under their care and as a person who already had anxiety I would never want anyone else to fall ignorant to this office's lack of responsibility, care, and resolving of issues with their clear lack of dentistry knowledge and ethics. The office help is rude and do not plan on your message being taken seriously. The technicians need reeducated and properly trained at numerous levels. The dentist has failed at levels of responsibility over staff.

The office is weird and not private- rooms are like cubicles and are closed off with a tiny sheer curtain. receptionist is extremely rude, and doesn't know how to talk to customers that have simple concerns or requests without having an attitude apparently.

I've gone to Carolina Smiles for about 3 years now. Not only affordable and great with teeth, but the friendliest staff you'll find. Dr. Pough is the best!

My appointment was at 5:10, taken back at 5:07. X-rays and cleaning in 1 hour. Staff was professional and courteous.

I cannot even express how wonderful my experience was here. The entire staff made me feel comfortable through the entire visit. I have some extensive procedures that need to be done and they were very patient to answer all of my questions. A special thank you to Felicia for taking care of me.

I cannot stress enough how amazing Dr. Pough and her team is! We have been taking our son there for the last year or two now, but today my 6 year old went in for a filling and an extraction today... Needless to say, he was MUCH less than thrilled. Everyone was so patient, so gentle with him as a patient and us as parents. They are all around a wonderful group to visit, both for adults and children. Would recommend a thousand times over!

Had my first visit today, Stephanie and Ainsley were really nice and made the visit comfortable. The staff up front were really helpful in planning future visits and cost considering I don't have dental insurance. Very clean office too.
