Dr. Anjali Seth has built a stellar reputation for her dedication to dental health care in the community of Charlotte and neighboring areas. Dr. Seth has extensive experience of 20+ years and expertise in family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and endodontics. She also specializes in the area of veneers and the placement and restoration of dental implant implants. As a pioneer and her personal interest in the use of modern high-tech techniques, Dr. Seth continues to be participates in various academia workshops and trainings to keep her knowledge abreast with time.
She has earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from Dalhousie University Canada in 2002. Upon graduation, Dr. Seth practiced in Belleville (Ontario, Canada) for three years before moving to Charlotte in 2006 to join her husband who works at Time Warner Cable. She has been serving the dental needs of patients in and around Carolinas since 2006.
Dr. Seth believes that everyone can have a bright and healthy smile and she has made a difference in the quality of life for her patients as it relates to their oral health. Both a mother and a wife, Dr. Seth strongly believes in providing the finest quality dental care to you and your family. Outside dental world, Dr Seth enjoys time with her two girls and her husband. She also enjoys listening to music, reading books and doing an active community service.
Dr. Sheftall is a SC native, who graduated from Greenville High School, The Citadel, and The Medical University of South Carolina, college of Dental Medicine. He has over 30 years of experience practicing General Dentistry, and still has a passion for his profession.
Dr. Sheftall is a member of The South Carolina Dental Association, and The American Dental Association. He is married to his classmate, colleague, and best friend, Dr. Susan Collins. He and his wife lives in Newport, SC.
Dr. Reji graduated from Manipal University, India in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery. She completed her Masters in International Public Health at University of Sydney, Australia. While in Australia, she completed a number of continuing education courses through the University of Melbourne. Having gained work experience, she moved to the United States, where she pursued her DMD degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine.
Her international dental experience enables her to relate to patients of all walks of life. She believes that the foundation to achieving good oral health starts with patient education and places emphasis on preventative methods and quality pain-free treatments. Her passion for treating patients as a whole is seen in her desire to listen to her patients needs and wants, then formulating patient centered treatment plans. Her laid back, gentle manner puts patients at ease.

I had four fillings done at this office, 3 by Dr Seth and 1 by Dr Jenkins. To summarize my experience, I highly recommend Dr Jenkins for fillings and am glad to have Dr Seth for regular teeth maintenance. Dr Jenkins did an excellent job with a deep rooted cavity. She was careful to get the entire cavity out and file down the filling to the correct shape on my bottom molar. No issues whatsoever, looking and feeling great! Dr Seth did the fillings for two of my upper teeth, and one bottom tooth. I had cold sensitivity with them for a few months after the procedure. Normally the cold sensitivity should not last that long nor remain that painful. It may be due to the placement of said fillings, a more sensitive area, but I had no cold issues with the filling by Dr Jenkins. Secondly, the upper fillings are an odd shape. While flossing I noticed the floss was catching on my upper teeth. I was worried the odd shape would be a problem, would bacteria get stuck under the filling and cause more problems? I went to another dental practice to look at it for a second opinion. The other practice said the odd shape was nothing to be concerned of, though I might want to file them down for smoother flossing. Dr Seth did my upper fillings procedures a little quick, did not file the teeth down fully, and the results are an odd shape with prolonged cold sensitivity (I do not have sensitivity now). Dr Seth is a kind and knowledgeable dentist but I would make sure to ask if she could go slower, shave down the fillings to the correct shape before leaving, and do one tooth per dental session if you have the time. At CSM, the dentists are open to discussing issues with you and are glad to help you post-procedure. Overall I am happy with the results from Carolina Smile Dentistry! I don't have cavities anymore and that is good. I also recommend for new patients to join a Dental Savings plan (not insurance) which cut my fillings costs in half. It was worth it paying for the monthly plan as the cost savings applies to almost all tooth procedures (cleanings to fillings) for my whole family. The Aetna plan saved me around $100-200 per tooth on fillings cost, so the total cost was well below $1,000 for all my fillings combined. Other dental practices in the area quoted me for thousands of dollars! Thank you CSM, Dr Seth, and Dr Jenkins. Also thank you to the amazing dental technicians. Always do a great job with teeth cleaning!

From the time you enter Carolina Smile Dentistry, the front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Appointments are always timely. All the people here are very knowledgeable and so kind. My dental hygienist,Rae Gordon, was truly outstanding!!! I have never had a better cleaning and I am 81 years old and have always taken great care of my teeth.Rae truly knows her job and enjoys it. She also has a natural, loving personality. Rae has my sincere recommendation as a hygienist. The new dentist, Dr. Jenkins, was also very nice, informative and thoroughly explained a few problems I appear to be having...impressed. Leaving the office today.... I highly recommend Carolina Smile Dentistry.

I'm extremely nervous going to the dentist due to past experiences but the entire staff at Carolina Smile Dentistry especially Brittany were wonderful. Felt extremely comfortable and appreciated the time they spent examining and explaining everything. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have been twice since moving to the area. Had different hygienists and different dentists each time, but both times were excellent experiences. They take their time giving recommendations. Even found a cyst in an X-ray on my husband that ultimately he is having removed by a surgeon soon. Very thankful they found it.
