Dr. Jess Arbon is a Board Certified Orthodontist. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and graduated with highest distinction and honors in 2007. Dr. Jed married his sweet wife, Molly, shortly before starting dental school. They have two wonderful children, Addie and Will. His hobbies include hanging out with his family, golfing, and pulling for the Cougs, Heels, and Hawks!

Dr. Jenna Alvey is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is originally from Bladenboro, North Carolina, making her a true Tar Heel, born and bred. Dr. Jenna originally moved to Chapel Hill to attend the University of North Carolina and to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree. She stayed and received her Doctor in Dental surgery, graduating with honors. After a brief stent in Seattle, Washington to work in public health dentistry, Dr. Jenna returned to her beloved Tar Heel State to receive her Master of Science degree and certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from UNC. While in dental school, Dr. Jenna met her husband, Brett. She considers herself very lucky to be able to work with amazing patients and alongside an awesome team, but even luckier to be the mom to three incredible kids, Aaron, Abigail and Caroline. The whole Alvey clan loves to be outside, playing sports and, of course, cheering on the Tar Heels!
Dr. Lauren Green is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in Matthews, NC and attended UNC Chapel Hill for college. She is proud to be a Tar Heel! She graduated top of her class with a DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry. She has been very involved in a variety of organizations promoting and advocating for oral health. She was selected as a Presidential Scholar, awarded the Psi Omega Fraternal Achievement Award, and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following graduation from MUSC, she returned to UNC Chapel Hill for specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. While in residency, she also attended UNCs Gillings School of Public Health and received a Masters in Public Health in Health Policy & Management.
Dr. Greens husband, Peter, is also a dentist - he specializes in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. They have two miniature schnauzers - Winston and Rockefeller. In her spare time, Dr. Green likes to cycle, cook, read, sew, and travel!
Dr. Felicia Swinney is a board-certified pediatric dentist from Augusta, GA. She received her undergraduate degree from Berea College in Kentucky. After college, she moved to Philadelphia and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Felicia served as a dental officer in the US Army, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program and providing care for Soldiers in the United States, Korea, and Iraq. After serving in the Army, Dr. Felicia moved to NC to complete her pediatric dental residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Felicia, her husband, Charles, and daughter, Harper decided to make NC their home, eventually settling in Pittsboro, because of the wonderful community of friends they have built during their time here. Outside of work, Dr. Felicia volunteers with the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties and enjoys all things local! She and Harper like to explore new parks and trails. Early mornings, you may see Dr. Felicia on a run with her running friends in Orange and Chatham counties.
Dr. Erin Tilton is a board-certified pediatric dentist from Warren, Ohio. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Richmond and attended Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio for her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. She moved to NC to attend the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill for her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and her Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Erin met her husband, Bryan, at the University of Richmond. They have a two-year-old son, Brody, and a baby girl, Lainey! She loves traveling, cooking, learning new things, and spending time with her family. Dr. Erin and her family love exploring the RDU area and being outside (especially visiting nature trails and parks)!

Great experience! The staff was very friendly and gentle with my 4yo and made her feel very comfortable. Dr Felicia explained everything as she went through the exam and gave great recommendations. Worth the drive from Wake Forest!

Dr. Felicia and the hygienist are amazing with my 6 and 4 year old. We have been going to this practice for over a year now. We were recommended this office after relocating to the area and we are so glad that took the advice. It is so worth the 20 minute drive for us! Each time I'm impressed with the customer service and special attention they give to my children. They are so patient and caring. I also appreciate that they are able to complete both of their appointments simultaneously to limit the amount of time that we have to devote in the office. During our visit today, my oldest child was scared when having the sealants applied. The hygienist Brittany was so patient and encouraging with him. Another hygienist also jumped in to help move the procedure along quickly so as to limit the amount of time he was upset. I appreciated their commitment to attending to his needs and helping calm him down. Would highly recommend!

Perfect. If I kid was to describe the perfect dentist office they would not have any problems going to, this is what the place would look and feel and act like. I told my 8yo little dude who got some seals and a fill that he made it look easy. He replied, "it was like a horror movie in my mouth". That's how fantastic they are with your tiny people. Even during a horror movie they they will keep your kids maintaining their composure and manners. Thank you.

Absolutely love the atmosphere in this office. I took my daughter for her first dental visit and the ENTIRE team was fantastic. Corrine was very patient and loving with my daughter along with Dr. Felicia. The whole team is very efficient from the second you walk in the door. I am starting ortho myself and Kendra was amazing. Stacy really made me feel welcomed! Dr. Brett was also very helpful and knowledgeable of his doing. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and kindness. I will always recommended this place to anyone with little kids and anyone who wants to straighten their smile.

The Invisalign process has been so easy and more convenient than traditional braces. I am halfway through the process and I am extremely happy with what I am seeing so far. Everyone associated with Carolina Orthodontist have been professional friendly and helpful!

Phenomenal is all I can say about Dr. Swinney. She is the most patient and relatable dentist I have ever met. She went above and beyond to make my overly anxious (and dramatic) daughter get through essentially a 2 hour procedure. I wish I could be her patient. If you are looking for the best pediatric dentist, you can stop looking, she is the one.

I live in ENC and went to multiple pediatric dentists in our area, all of whom left me feeling uneasy and uninformed with the treatment plans presented for the fairly extensive dental work my 6 year old needed done, and pushed general anesthesia as the ONLY option for her care, and used what felt like fear tactics about a lifetime of dental issues if I didn't commit to that course of action right away. While I know this is often the best option for kids, not one single encounter left me feeling confident that it was in this case or that I would be informed of changes while my child was put under. After exhausting options in my local area, I began researching other options in the state, and something about the reviews (which is why I am here writing this) and the way this office presented itself online told me to give it a shot. I made an initial appointment and drove 2.5 hours for my child to meet with Dr. Jenna Alvey at the Apex office. From the moment we walked in, I knew the drive, prolonging treatment and looking for alternative options was the right choice. The office is beautiful & pristine and everyone from the front desk to the dental staff is friendly and welcoming. My daughter had no issues with her cleaning or X-rays and when it was time to meet Dr. Jenna, I could instantly see that she is a natural with children and genuinely cares about the best options for children's dental care as well as making sure the parent leaves feeling confident and informed, not shamed or scared. The first of four dentists to look me in the eye and assure me she wouldn't change treatment without informing me and gaining my consent. Dr. Jenna was able to complete my daughters fillings, crowns, and teeth extractions in 2 appointments using laughing gas, I was able to be in the room during the work, and we were in and out both times in less than an hour. My daughter left still viewing the dentist as a positive and almost fun experience (thanks to the tokens and dippin dots), and is now back on track for a healthy mouth. I'm writing this lengthy review in hopes of helping other parents faced with similar decisions make a choice, and to express my gratitude for Dr. Jenna and the staff for being so amazing.

Carolina Dentistry has been amazing. The staff is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I am helping a refugee family who recently arrived in the US get up to date with their dental care. Dr. Erin and her assistant, Claire, are very efficient, kind, patient, and caring towards their patients. I highly recommend the practice.

Can we talk about how great the service was? OK, lets: my son is 5 and had fears about his appointment but once there, the staff were patient and kind and they earned his trust. He even walked in with them. Amazing. The office was like a living room. Spacey and clean. Very relaxing. Outstanding service. Very professional. I highly recommend them. I can't say enough.
