My hygienist did not introduce herself of care to ask a thing about me. The dentist again did not introduce herself or care to speak with me before trying to put her hands in my mouth. I will be finding another dentist in the area. They also don't give bags with toothpaste or a toothbrush

I been a patient for about 5 or more years. I always have a good experience but yesterday was the best experience I had. I forgot my dental hygienist name but she was so sweet and professional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. I just had a baby so Unfortunately I been forgetting to floss. It's been a day and my teeth still feel so clean and she cleaned my teeth fast too. I hope she gets recognized for her work. My husband went yesterday in the morning too and he got the same dental hygienist and he said she did a great job as well. She was so friendly and she told my husband she is new. I would have never guess that she was new. She's that good!

I've been here for a few months at the front and this office revealed a lot of ethical, ownership, and dental procedural problems. In fact, I was appalled and shocked by the things that are happening with malpractice and over treatment here and it made my blood boil. Please be aware Dr. Mester is a mastermind of deceiving people and patients with insurance fraud, and ridiculous, risky procedures for the sake of efficiency. I will list it out here as specific as I can remember. 1) Insurance Fraud.This is the most surprising and shocking thing I've witnessed here. Seems like they are so comfortable and get used to it with it now that seems they don't feel guilty about it. One of the classic examples is they have changed the dental codes intentionally (i.e. simple extractions vs complex extraction that costs more) that would require more payment from both patient and insurance company. This is an outright violation, illegal dental business practice not mentioning it's unethical. I've heard that there were a few investigations from the insurance company but Dr. Mester showed off they have a very good lawyer to cover up all illegal business activities. 2) Ownership and Ethical Problem. Dr. Mester is the owner here and he is very aggressive and rude in all aspects. You will know what I am talking about when you have worked here. The owner seems ok to patients but he was very rude and would start yelling and even throwing things when something goes in a way he doesn't like. Everyone stayed in fear when this was happening. I could see a lot of staff left and I was one of them. Dr.Mester and his office also deceived patients with procedures. I witnessed a lot of procedures where Dr. Mester directed his staff and associates intentionally to do incomplete fillings and when the patient came in with sensitivity because of the incomplete filling, office manager and Dr.Mester insisted to patient they need a root canal and crown. Some patients unknowingly trusting their provider just followed this direction which cost them at least $1000-$1500 more. 3) Aggressive and incomplete procedures.I saw a lot of patients here had to go through traumatizing procedures by Dr. Mester. For extraction, Dr. Mester took a very aggressive approach he just breaks out teeth regardless of the condition that comes with a very big breaking sound. I saw a lot of patients were traumatized by the extraction procedure like this. I wanted to share this is not a common procedure and I saw a lot of skilled dentists could do it without giving patients any trauma. Also for a root canal, his aggressive procedures led to a lot of returning patients with a lot of pain and infections. Dr. Mester and his staff always showed off how fast they could do these procedures but what's the point if this gives you permanent trauma towards dental works? The doctor and the office are not respectful of patients at all. Overall, Dr. Mester doesn't feel any guilt about the illegal business and dental procedures he has been practicing. I can't believe someone with a reputational dental degree from Columbia University would do this illegal activity and rude personality. Hopefully, with this review, someone from dental associations or insurance companies should be able to detect these illegal activities and malpractices happening here.

The dental hygienist was excellent. She was very careful cleaning the teeth with fillings. Dr Lopez ensures I understand what has been done and what needs to be completed. She always has great advice on other options to help with missing teeth. Always great service.
