I was born in Aurora, Illinois, in 1958. Sometime before the age of two, my family and I moved to Miami, where I lived the majority of my life. I graduated from Miami Central High school and went on to Miami Dade Community college to earn an Associate of Arts degree. I then spent two years in Los Angeles as a missionary for my church. I returned to Miami and attended Florida International University, earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry. I enrolled in dental school in Gainesville, Florida, in 1983, and graduated in 1987. My first job was working in Miami as an associate while at the same time opening my first practice with a partner. We eventually opened two practices where I worked for five years.
I sold my half of the business to my associate and worked in a group practice in Kendall for another five years. I returned to Central Florida and purchased a practice in Dunnellon, Florida. In June of 2008, I opened my village office, and in September of 2010, I opened my Ocala Office. I totally enjoy my work, my staff, and interacting with patients and colleagues. I am married and have four daughters from the ages 14 to 30 years. I enjoy traveling, listening to music and spending time with my family.

After having a bad experience with a dental procedure in the past I was very fearful of ALL dentist. I reached a point where I could no longer put off my dental health. I went to several dentist , driving as far as Orlando and all over Ocala, trying to find one I felt most comfortable with to no avail. My friends were telling me I'm being too picky, ...a year later ...I sure am glad I was being picky!! I found a gem stone in Dunnellon. YES DUNNELLON!! My first visit I told Dr. G, "I'm not sure if you are going to be the right fit for what I need, "I am very scared and you don't offer nitrous or sedation??!!" (That was my # 1 requirement. ) So we did my care plan on what I needed, and I wasn't sure I would be going back. (After all they don't offer nitrous or sedation!!) AND I needed a lot of work. However, I did the next appoint and they started with a deep root cleaning which I broken down crying before they even got the bib around my neck. That's how petrified I was. I couldn't believe it was so easy. when they were done. I felt crazy for being so scared. So I went back for the next appointment which again was a snap... Still being very afraid I kept asking the same questions over and over and Dr. G and Mrs G were so sweet and understanding and was always reassuring me along the way. I'm not the easiest patient, nor easy to please. I know this,... then before I knew it, about 8 weeks later my care plan was done. I have a new beautiful smile that I love. AND WITHOUT nitrous or sedation. My smile is only part of what I have enjoyed being a patient of Carolina Dental, the friendships build are a bonus, for that I thank you. Dr. G and Mrs G truly go above and beyond. Words cannot tell you the gratitude I have for them both. 5 Star, Grade A, top shelf customer service. Make your appointment today, you won't be sorry. I went for evaluation and repair plan and left with a new grill and I feel new. Looks amazing! Painless, and very nice crew. I recommend anyone that needs to smile again. I'm always in the mirror smiling. Thanks again Dr.G

Facing the reality of needing a denture is scary. Getting 5 teeth pulled before that is even scarier. Dr. and Mrs. Gonzales made it all a piece of cake. I still can't believe teeth can be pulled without pain or much discomfort at all. This DEF is the place to go if you want one that FITS!

I would highly recommend Carolina dentures to anybody. I've needed dental work done for some time. I went to a number of different places but didn't feel right. From the first day I walked in to present day they all treat me as im the only one that matters. I have new smile I havent seen in decades. Thank you so much to everyone at Carolina dentures.

Wow . That was my first time walking in . And Fast . Polite . Listened to my need . And My new friend went out of here way to have me happy . And Yippie . I am in as far as a couple day wait for my Appointment . !! Just like that !! And They have such a fen shui atmosphere . I wanted to move in .. and 2 people cam
