I would recommend this office to anyone with children. They have very friendly staff. They were ready for in right time we got there. They made me feel very comfortable with everything they were doing with my child. I had been very reluctant prior to this dentist because my child had so many issues with his teeth. We were in and out in an hour or less. We will definitely be going back. Thanks dr and staff!!

I have been going to this office since I was a kid. I use to see Dr. Marsh even before it was "Carolina Dental Docs". As an adult I decided to keep going even after Dr. Marsh left and once I had children to bring them here as well. Over the past few years everything has changed so much. They can't keep the same staff or even the same doctors and I am not talking about just one person leaving it has been multiple assistants, hygienists, desk staff, and doctors that have left. My last cleaning was scheduled in June and I got a call a day before saying they couldn't see me because "they did not have a dentist" supposedly a new one was going to start and they would call to schedule that appointment however I never heard from them. I called today to scheduled my 4 childrens dental cleaning (I have ALWAYS taken all 4 at the same time understanding they may not all be seen at once but I have never had a problem waiting) but the lady at the desk clearly was having a bad day or just had a bad attitude tells me they will only see 2 from the same family the same day. I told her I didn't understand this as I have always brought all of them without issues? She then explains if a family of 4 just doesn't show up it leaves a bigger block of time that could have been for other patients. I work in healthcare so I understand this however I told her I have never just not shown up to an appointment so why would I be punished for what another family does especially after I have been a patient for over 15 years? She rudely tells me she will put all 4 down but will talk to the doctor about it. So why put them down and not know if they will be seen? I decided that I have ignored the red flags for long enough and it's time to find a new dentist for my children and myself. I don't understand the logic behind it being acceptable to cancel my appointment because YOU don't have a dentist but I can't bring in all 4 of my children (like I usually do) simply because of what another family does? I was patient, understanding, and cooperative when they could not see me but now I want to make an appointment I've always made and it's a problem? They clearly do not value having regular cooperating patients.

I've been taking my son for years and I wouldn't want to take him anywhere else! The entire staff, from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist.. everyone is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly!

I was unaware that Carolina dental doc no longer take adults. They did surgery in my mouth 1 month ago and now I can not get any help on getting the pain on my mouth fixed. I personally will not recommend due to lack of communication and careless doctors

It was my daughter's first time going to the dentist. She had fun and didn't cry....well except when we were leaving she wanted to take everything with us. They worked with what worked for her. I'm thankful she had her first experience to be with them.

Horrific experience! My three year was having sedation for the first time. Apparently it didn't work. She screamed the whole time they worked on her. I was in the lobby and heard her along with other patients and their families who were concerned about my daughters cries. I had to go to the back on my own. They had her in a shut room with other children. They would not let me comfort her in any way. I begged for them to stop. I was speaking to an office lady who refused for them to stop. She opened the door while I was there and told everyone in there I was yelling at her. I was bold, determined and loud but didn't yell once. So unprofessional. I had to stand there and her the heart wrenching screams as they finished. She screamed from the beginning, so they should have came and got me and asked if they should continue due to the screaming after the first tooth was treated. Obviously she was scared or in pain. After the treatment my daughter was wheeled out and there was no explanation from the dr or assistant as to what happened or what to expect. My daughter could not walk for hours and was in a daze. What in the world kind of place is this? My husband went in later after I left and got more poor service from the same office lady I spoke to. We will never go back there and recommend no one does. My daughter did not deserve that treatment and certainly they don't deserve my money.

I'll give two stars and not one, because of the customer service. I called this dentist office after my son fell and chipped his two front teeth. Another dentist office said they wouldn't be able to see him until July, so when Carolina Dental said they could see him in two days, I was ecstatic! I made sure prior to scheduling that they were in network with my insurance. When I got there ,they were really friendly and made sure my son and I were comfortable. After taking x-rays and receiving the dental treatment plan, I was informed that the dentist there did not work on permanent teeth and that my son would have to come back in a few weeks when the new dentist got there. WHY WOULD YOU NOT ASK IF HIS TEETH WERE PERMANENT BEFORE SCHEDULING THE APPOINTMENT, IF YOU KNOW YOUR DENTIST DOES NOT WORK ON PERMANENT TEETH??? So I'm missing work and my son is missing school for absolutely reason. At this point, I was told that they "have another dental office that's 5 minutes away, and they can see you tomorrow." So, I'm thinking that this is an good effort to apologize for their error and fix it. So, I agreed to miss work again and my son miss school again. Fast forward to the next day. I take him to their other dental office. They ask to take x-rays, but I'm like, "he just took x-rays at your other office yesterday." So they call over and get the x-rays sent. The dentist sees him and then they bring the treatment plan. They tell me it's over $400. I asked why so much. They say because your insurance is out-of-network. WAIT, WHAT? Why would Carolina Dental send me to a dentist that is out-of-network. And they made it seem as if it was their dental office, just another location. So my son misses school, and I miss work, again. Not to mention the cost of multiple dental appointments, and his teeth are still chipped.

I have been going to this dentist for just months over a year and I must say I would not recommend this dentist to a blind person. Every time I went for a cleaning, they suggested I get my wisdom teeth removed. The office suggest a procedure then has an out of house oral surgeon come once a month and do 20 different wisdom teeth Extractions & do not follow back up. I went ahead & scheduled to get my wisdom teeth removed all four at once requiring me to be put to sleep. Long story short the out of house oral Surgeon dislocated my jaw & for 5 days as i tried to explain the symptoms they did not believe me & did not offer a follow up. i had to go to the ER and get a CT SCAN to figure out my jaw had been dislocated for the entire time. Honestly when you spending your hard earn money on a procedure I recommend you go somewhere anywhere else because one simple procedure is going to put me in debt with a hospital bill I did not cause & because they have no in house oral Surgeon to do a check up later. They just want your money and that's non ethical, painful & not worth being in business.

Called yesterday afternoon at 1:47. Explained that I had a special needs child who had a cavity and who was in a lot of pain and needed to be seen asap, and would probably need sedation because of his autism and sensory processing disorder. Susan took my name and number and said that Amy, the nurse in charge of sedation would call me. No call back that day. 10am rolled around this morning after being open 1.5 hours so I called back again because I had still not gotten a call back. I was been told by Susan that Amy had called me. Amy had not called me because my phone never left my side waiting on the return call. Even double checked my phone. No call and no voicemail either. I explained that I had not had a phone call back so Susan verified my number again, then called me Miss Johnson ( my last name is Lee), and told me that Amy would call me back. It's now almost 2 p.m. and still no call back. In the mean time I have had 3 call backs from dentists I called this morning, the longest of which only took 1 hour to return my call. It has now been over 24 hours since my initial call and still no call back. When someone calls who has a special needs child in pain and who specified that they needed to be seen as soon as possible and you can't call them back in a reasonable amount of time, then you probably need to get some customer service training, better management or get some more staff since there seems to be some type of major lack of urgency/just don't care issue going on within the office.

The BEST kids dentist. I have only had good experiences there. The staff are great! The hygienists & dentists are GREAT with kids. I might need them to be my dentist too! Also, they schedule both my kids back to back appointments which makes it so easy! They are also very aware of school schedules and schedule appointments on breaks and summer days.

Absolutely no stars should be given for this place. We were referred her for some work my son needed done. The first time we went here they refused to do what our dentist recommended. Okay fine, so he did caps in my sons mouth. Those fell out within a week. So we go back to get them redone. The caps fell out the same day and now my son has 3 major infected abscesses due to this.

Always a friendly experience here. I have to say they are so kind and patient while I always have a hard time going to the dentist because of my anxiety. They are always gentle as well. 10/10

I'm so disappointed in this place . My son has been going here since his 1st ever dentist appointment! They kicked us out because my son was scared of the dental hygienists and bit him and it wasn't even a hard bit his three . I get it I do but at the end of the day it's a Child ! I was trying to calm him down But in the past the other ladies have always been nice and Patient with us with NO Problems! That man could've at least tried to talk to him and calm him down he was scared ! Not just kick us out . Kids act out when they are scared if you can't wrk with kids then find a new employer! And when I called back today the lady was just laughing on the phone like it was funny . Treat ppl how you wish to be treated . Simple .
