Education is a very important part of any dental career. During my stay at MUSCs College of Dental Medicine, I was taught by many intelligent and dedicated professors. Our small class size allowed us to learn in more of a one-on-one setting in order to get the most our education. Education for dentistry does not end there, however. I look forward to learning everything I can through continuing education courses and by learning from the other skilled doctors in this office.
It us a true blessing to be able to give the gift of dentistry to those who need it most. I have been very fortunate to have many opportunities to provide for my community. Volunteering at free dental clinics, participating in the Special Smiles program during the Special Olympics, and participating in Give Kids a Smile are among the many events I have been honored to be a part of. I hope that many other opportunities become available to me so that I can give back to the dental community here in Loris.
Being a dentist is truly a rewarding profession. But while going to work every day and doing what I love is great, Ive developed a passion for overseas dental missions. I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit Venezuela, Ecuador and Haiti during my dental career. During my stay in these countries, I, along with a team of volunteers, was able to provide quality dental care for those who do not have regular access to such services. I have learned a lot by visiting these countries and I hope to be able to return in the near future.
Dr. Spiguzza believes in a patient first philosophy when it comes to providing dental care. He understands first hand that not every patient is alike, and listens intently in order to provide the best care achievable to every patient . Dr. Spiguzza is extremely proficient when it comes to working within the confines of patients individual needs. Whether it is fear and anxiety or financial constraints, Dr. Spiguzza works tirelessly to provide a solution that satisfies his patients oral health needs without sacrificing quality to do so.
Dr. Spiguzza completed his Bachelors degree in Biology at Indiana University in Bloomington,IN. While at Indiana, he was on the deans list for his entire tenure in his undergraduate studies. Dr. Spiguzza was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity where he served as the chair of philanthropy for over 120 members. As philanthropy chair, Dr. Spiguzza organized events and coordinated members to give back to the community in numerous charities throughout campus.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Spiguzza completed his masters degree in biology through Purdue University. Shortly after receiving his masters degree, Dr. Spiguzza attended dental school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. At UMKC, Dr.Spiguzza received the McDavid Dental Scholarship for academic Excellence. Dr. Spiguzza enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cooking.

My husband broke his front tooth Labor Day weekend. We called another dental care place in North Myrtle and they wouldn't see him until November. We called Carolina Dental in Loris and they got him in that same morning! Appointment only took about 30 minutes and his tooth was restored! Very reasonable price and wonderful staff! Highly recommend!

Never been a fan of the dentist because my teeth suck. Dr. Spiguzza and his team are top notch at doing their job as well as making you comfortable. 5 stars every time!

I used Carolina Dental as a teenager and just had another appointment last week and I was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Spiguzza. They were all very professional and I even had to have a tooth pulled and I didn't feel a thing, though I was scared too death from a previous dentist he promised me he would be quick and I wouldn't feel a thing and it was just that. Quick and painless. The shots in my mouth didn't even hurt. I would recommend anyone to them.

Went in having tooth pain and they were able to take care of what I needed the same day excellent staff and service everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable they worked great as a team to get the job finished properly. They really care about their patients.

I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach and I broke a tooth which cause me to have severe pain and discomfort. I called Carolina Dentistry and they were able to schedule my appointment the same day. They were incredibly welcoming and very patient with me as I have a fear of the dentist. I cannot begin to tell you how much they helped me. I wish I lived closer so I could continue to go back. I would highly recommend their practice!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. They were going to pull a moller that wasn't even fractured. The fracture didn't even show on an x-ray. My tooth has since completely healed. I'm still being hounded to pay for an improper examination. I try to explain to the office staff, rude rude people. If you're new to loris, do yourselves a favor and find a real dentist.

I don't like going to the dentist. But I have to say Carolina Dental Care is a pleasure. Every one there is pleasant and friendly. Excellent care. Would highly recommend. We are new to the area. Am so glad I found them

On the webpage they claim to provide emergency dental care. We had an emergency situation and I called and navigated to the line for emergencies, left my contact information very clearly, repeating my phone number twice, as requested, so that the on call dentist could contact me. Never heard from them. Never.

Went in for emergency tooth pain and didn't wait long. Everyone was nice. Dr did a great job. The only problem I had was cvs said that it would take over an hour to fill prescription and the pain was intense. The dentist should prescribe a couple of pills just in case something like that happens.
